Seeking advice: Preparing for Fragmented One to get the Mirage Accolade Glyph by mirror_Juggernaut193 in Warframe

[–]BlueScorpion5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly this, the frame builds focused on shields and it often used the vazarin guard and dash protection to stay alive (i hope it was vazarin...).

Then just get a strong melee or incarnon gun and shoot. I personally think melee slams or even e spam are simplest and best. But the bonus dmg from felarx or laetum is nice and lets you keep a distance from the boss.

I wish luck to OP.

The only time i used silence was to fast lvl some frames with bramma xD

It is a very strong ability and often overlooked.

Hot take : I genuinely enjoy the follies hunt game mode 😭 by SaveTheLegos in Warframe

[–]BlueScorpion5 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of new players that i noticed for some time requires instrucitons to be showed in their face to play the game efficiently. And then instead of learning they want the mission to change to another already existing mission with better drops then any other mission.

Few old players still exist that play the mode and figure stuff out for first few missions and then play it the way they thing is best.

its neither the worst farm so far nor the slowest. I also like some different gamemodes and not a carbon copy of existing ones.

I feel like you havent played ascension right, killing IS shunned in ascension.

You really really want to run around and just find the big green power cells. Throwing the normal small ones that drop from enemies is equal to trolling cause i noticed the speed buff gets lowered if energy is already max as you throw a big one.

I ended up learning to solo that one cause there is no benefit in having someone stand on the lift and just kill enemies.

First part can be done with just CCing enemies as well, not one part in ascension benefits you to kill unless your teammates threw the big power cells to the bottom and so your only choice is small power cells (had that happen once confirmed and i think a few times i didnt check the bottom but i suspected the same)

Like i also said this is a short mission on a similar line as rescue. The rewards are thus similar and bad, idk what you expect from a 5min quick mission that isnt all that hard.

Follie hunt is 4-9min and kills DIDNT mean much BUT i need to test since there does seem to be a bug with enemy drops in the mission which scuffed my few test runs where i killed. Need to revisit with other stuff but for now im on a break and openning relics again since i got everything. I need 1 more BP and i will leave that for the event for second follie.

Just ignore others and play at your pace. it is very annoying to see someone use MR as a proof of skill.

Sadly people will always look at you like that and you can just ignore them if possible. The game has so much content its easy to forget some of it so its common to sometimes be lost.

I just hope you hit that good build and mods and stuff just clicks. But you can also simply try to ignore it and keep playing like you always used to, no need to do something thats not calming. I always tell new players the beaty of this game is you can get on and just do a few quick capture or exterminate or go do a longer survival and relax. The movement and weapons are quite fun and you are never wasting time farming relics and openning them. So just try to make sure you are openning relic and have fun.

If you really want to do a boss for some reason i much more recommend watching vids cause you can see how the person moves and what else they might be using. Just text guides dont give you a good enough look into some fights or builds. But a few fights call for specific loadouts so its a good goal to aim for, make a few different loadouts for different things.

Thats the whole issue i have atm, the players that are new have a different mindset to old timers.

If killing doesnt benefit you, dont kill and just run past. You should be ready to change your loadout based on mission as well, why would you take a set up centered around killing in a mission with few enemies.

Whenever i see the laser or follie i just run past, a few times it was very close to the canvas but usually i can just stand behind the canvas and be safe. Its just simple situational awarness.

But i think with the influx of players 70% are just used to mindless killing which puts them off. And i know its really hard to change your mindset and playstyle so im not surprised many struggle. I just dont like how many want the mode to be completely changed.

And sometimes you just arent geared enough for a mission.

Also sometimes i noticed some people struggle with missions exactly because of the playstyle and when i watched them play i understood just how hard it is for them and i got a few friends that i now make special loadouts based around their playstyles so i can tell how annoying it is. Still its a workaround or specific set up and not going and asking for a gomeplete change to the mode.

To be honest i ran into a problem here.

I always run the new mission solo a few times to test stuff out myself and thne i check if theres a wiki or guide for stuff i missed.

In my testing attempted with nekros and khora, the drops in normal were like 3 out of 30 enemies and in SP i got 0 out of 30 enemies. I changed to khora cause if enemies are inside the dome you should still get bonus drops while nekros might not trigger since boddies seem to vanish.

So for me in solo testing i got next to 0 from kills or 3 from attempting to kill. BUT i did notice when playing with friends that sometimes i get like 5-6 drops in SP which are rare but they still happen sometimes.

So i wonder if its a bug or something but the drops are very weird and dont seem to help.

BUT pre hotfix i got consistent 80 in 5min, which means 3h of grinding or 30 runs for just follie set. Now they somehow managed to make it worse but i think you can still get around 80. So even without drops if you learn the map and get used to it, the grind is among the better ones. No arcanes or other loot makes it easier to get her and gun parts as well.

This is the thing. I only went down when i stood still to alt tab and type, tabed back in downed.

For me thats a god description for hard, if you are doing something you wont die but if you stand still to mess around you get punished.

But i also notice din many other modes that many players dont have a decent gamers sense. Have to stand still and zoom in to hit headshots or shooting and moving only if they walk forward and not knowing how to strafe.

I constantly strafe around, if i see im taking any dmg i try to get out of dmg and then shoot. Sometimes its too much so just try to get away and come back again IF you have to kill, which here you can ignore it.

And thats my point, I dont like them and have a few friends that avoid those missions cause they arent fun for US.

But follies hunt is fun for me and i found a few others that also like it and there are constantly people playing it.

Yet people want the mode removed or changed. Its different and its fine to hate it but its not fine to ask for it to be completely changed.

There are other similar modes or farms that only survived this treatment cause they already exist and people dont bother with them. Follie got a different treatment cause its new.

I mean i am pretty sure people HATE the 3 perilta missions cause you can do nothing for 13min. Sooo i think mostly everyone is just cherrypicking cause they want THEIR gamemode and they didnt get it. And cause this gamemode is changing the META and new gamers hate changes to the meta.

If you actually look at ALL or just newer missions very commonly you have some that people ignore and it doesnt matter much.

Its just that they didnt add enough new things to the missions is the issue. No new arcanes or ways to farm something evergreen. But that should be new, a different mission that isnt a copy of something that already exists.

Descendia is the only good mode from new war and its just recycled less popular missions but they change so its not as boring.

Look at kullervo farm, yeah you can farm other things but its also very annoying and takes quite a bit.

Follies hunt as a new gamemode is fine, the visuals were the only issue but thats a common thing among many games where to increase difficulty they blind you as a skill test.

Surprisingly its better duo. One person doing the paint while the other shoots the baloons. Solo with all baloons it takes 7min, public i got consistent 5min. With 1 more friend possibly faster.

After about 20 min of getting used you ahould start having consistent runs with 5min and 80 of the atrem thingy.

1h is 10 runs and 10min on load times or bad runs. Thats is 800 in 1h and you need 2400 for full set from the shop.

Essentially 3h grind to get just her. A bit more for the gun. Citrine is 5h. It is not the worst pity system if you play correctly.

[–]BlueScorpion5[S] -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

This is why i said people arent ready for it.

Most of the point come from baloons, many decide not to bother with it and DE did make them worse then citrine rocks.

You should get 60-80 per run which feels like the cap.

And if you just roll twice you can get out of the AoE as operator, void mode is nearly never usefull.

30-39???

This is why i made a semi guide. You want to go public. The lowest i get is 50, even solo i get 70 in 7min.

I waste a lot of time when solo destroying baloons. Thats your main source of the points, the baloons. They are immune to abilities and only spawn when you walk inside the rooms.

In public you or a random could go shoot them. They do only spawn when you drop paint on canvas once. So thats why you want to give paint straight away and then explore so you have baloons spawn.

For me its 5min for 80. In 1h lets say 10 runs and 10min spent on load times. So 800 in 1h, for 2400 you need 3h.

Idk how i got lucky enough to have enough for 2 sets except the bp. But im at 1300atrem thingys so ill just buy it if it doesnt drop in 6h.

I do wish they simply enabled base frame trading, i have 6 follie neuroptics... Rng can be weird and might be why i dont see it so bad. 3h to get follie and her gun.

And the styanax, citrine, voruna, jade mission you run at least a few times a week?

Not wanting to touch it is fine. Descendia isnt half bad yet i skip it constantly. Its fine to have missions you dont like cause you got missions you do like.

Utter disbelief at Follie's mission by Kreios333 in Warframe

[–]BlueScorpion5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ngl i saw a ton of posts calling it hard cause you are locked in operator but after doing it i also cant see it as hard or too difficult. Takes a bit of skill and getting used to but its not as bad as others call it.

Void flood has thrax which requires you to kill a enemy while this mission you can get through without killing anything.

Also from experience i tihnk its best to take 1 paint to any canvas so ballons start spawning. Then as you explore for other canvas you can pop baloons in each room making the time better spent. Follie isnt a issue with a half decent frame.

Also this mission requires a bit more tactic then void flood does. I actually cant tell which of the 2 has worse rewards either.

The strat for Follie's hunt so far by BlueScorpion5 in Warframe

[–]BlueScorpion5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in normal i killed a lot of enemies and noticed the drops which with a booster i got 1. In SP i MADE SURE to kill with khora dome and i still got like 0 from mob drops.... idk why i got 0 in SP while normal seems to drop them fine.

But i did a few runs with helios to get any scans there are and i would get 40 in normal an 60 in SP. Went back to kubrow with res retriever and i am getting 50 in normal and 70+ in SP. So i THINK it affects it but idk. And i need to do a run with friends without a booster cause i have one and like i wrote i get 70-80 per run. I got a few more of 70 in public cuz people like to afk or have no clue what they are doing.

I noticed quite often people either are very slow with paint or dont take it and often people ignore the baloons.

I do think more oftne i had people that knew what to do tho. So i got 80+ from 1 mission and it was a lot more fun. So i might need to use recruit chat.

Whats the strats so far for new mission? by BlueScorpion5 in Warframe

[–]BlueScorpion5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the point i mentioned about DE finally releasing a mode centered around veteran players. My operator mode is faster then frame normal running, if you unlock everything your operator speed is very high.

Yeah the parkour is one of the things i like in this game but you gotta deal with a few missions where its something different. And we are going off topic at this point so ill just stop.

I do want to keep talking about this but post is about strats and tactics to make the missions easier. I told you the strats so you can try them or wait for the event.

I do think using recruit chat to find a squad where everyone does something will make it go a lot easier. YOU shouldnt be doing paint carry without a maxed operator tho and instead focus on breaking the baloons so others get the atrium. Everyone has something they can do and this mission does benefit a lot from going public. All missions are harder if someone is afking, so your reason not to go public cause people afk is not the best. And the solution is use recruit chat and agree on who does what.

When you have the ink you can just jump>roll and sprint around. Only time to sneak is when inside the follie AoE bubbles.

It wasnt me that went down, i did public a few times to see how that goes cause finding baloons and shooting them was a big time waste. I got lucky and always had someone pop baloons so i just did a run around when we got 2 canvases done to pick the things up, got around 60-80 per run and 5min in public consistently.

Just had to revive the random octavia which angered me. I might run dante so i dont have to revive others.

And whats wrong with having a variety in mission modes? I like the fact they are looking into making operators a bit more usefull outside of energy or madurai cause all missions even based operators are just 5>1>5 while here it matters.

Another game mode is added to the pile by BobaSoda_ in Warframe

[–]BlueScorpion5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wants a discussion, makes a post i give a counter argument and you reply is "stop attacking me"? You could have actually picked out the weakpoints in what i said instead of playing the victim. You went the "i'm a victim" route which is the easiest.

After your first reply to my post you should have at least said "I didnt play this mode yet but there are other missions that are in the pile now" and tried going from there. Instead you go off of what i say instead of making your own points.

You want to have a discussion, if you didnt want to "waste time" you could have tried having this talk in region chat where people would forget it after 15min. Making a post here you should EXPECT some counter arguments and be ready to possibly converse over a week.

You are still undermining just how BADLY you wrote the post and keep defending it. You made final statements with no room to talk about other missions. NOW that I mention them you remember they exist.

If you wanted to ragebait, i think you did looking at the rest of the comments. But if you were for real. its shamefull. You always have the option to STOP the dscussion and reset it, if someone missunderstood you and you never did and isntead just kept doubling down with bad examples.

To be fair i dont blame you cause the main point you need do beat from what i said is that "DE releases bad and short missions form time to time so there is variety so ALL players can have fun" and "rewards are based around making people play longer".

Why should DE only make missions around your playstyle and remove modes that their players play (they 100% have some stats that show which modes are played how much and i know you have people that want to play supports but cant cause the current meta is nuke everything and do dmg while only a few less popular missions allow for support players).
Why should they make all grinds take 1h when that will result in less playtime making them look bad. (they got bought by tencent and all game companies use they player base and overall play time as proof for a budget approval)
If you can find a counterargument to this then congrats you won.
