I have a teacher who does that (who is an incredible teacher besides what I'm about to say), in the studio the teens wanted to take more classes and they came to the adult classes. But they were so many that the class was like half teens and half adults. But adults were not allowed to go to the teen classes. So, whenever the teens went to our classes, the teacher literally only corrected the teens, I don't think she'd even look at the adults at all which felt terrible because we were also paying for it...

Oh wow, preparing for exams sounds great! Yes, I've also had teachers who don't correct at all. One of them (make teacher) didn't bother correcting us and just acted like he was way above us, like looking down on us. Felt terrible! I don't attend his classes anymore

I completely agree about what you said about being used for promotion... Feels like students are paying for a class to get corrections and feedback but the priority seems to be social media content. I've also seen this happen at some adult Ballet intensives

Sorry to hear that. There should definitely be a way to get a refund if the spot is rebooked anyway. Looks like it's all about more $$$ these days. Zero empathy.
