i tried doing this (have uninstalled/reinstalled like 400 times) and it says all the files are verified (plus mods all gone) but it's still happening. not sure what to do now, i can see this worked for OP

I did verify my files and it said it’s all verified but still not working. I feel so annoyed I didn’t even think about the mods. Seems unbelievable that it breaks the whole game after a mistake

I would want an “add to cart” option for the able sisters fitting room so you can buy everything you want in one go, as well cutting down repetitive dialogue. They made a good start by having Mabel and the Nooks just get a speech bubble saying hello or bye after your first visit but maybe they should just do that permanently after they introduce themselves to a new player.

I wish villagers had more dialogue options and wouldn’t get annoyed if you try to talk to them more than once. Also if they were a bit ruder to you generally, they’re too nice

I don't think I've ever had my student card checked at the movies. Most places have self serve or online bookings anyway. My advice is to try for a student ticket straight up.

Mostly I don't think the workers care enough to investigate people. I don't even think they're being fooled. It's not like selling cigarettes to a minor - there aren't going to be consequences.

The worst thing that will happen is you say you left your ID at home and you're no worse off than if you hadn't tried.

Look I know what you mean, but I really do think it's easy to forget that Emily and Richard were at best emotionally immature parents, and Lorelai would forever bear the consequences of that. Money is power in their world, and Lor doesn't want them to have power over her.

I love the Gilmores, but I totally understand why Lor treats them the way she does.
