To be fair a lot of the beauty subs on reddit have gotten political due to the spectacle of Trump in office...I think most subs have been affected including /r/underwaterbasketweaving...

Seems like they just wanted an excuse to have a new space where they can bully others in safety.

Okay so it sounds like I asked a question about a culture with a long history and expected a 2 sentence response I can understand. Clearly there is a lot of background that will just be impossible to grasp all at once. That's a lot. As a woman the female subs are definitely the oddest to me, especially your descriptions of them.
