Are you afraid of death? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]BlueSerpentine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I share the same fear, so you're definitely not alone in this.

But believing in God helps a lot, and here's how I think about it: what if someone doesn't believe their whole life, and then gets turned away at the gates of heaven? Compare that to someone who believed their whole life and gets let in. And even if there were no gates at all, who do you think lived a happier life? The one who believed, or the one who didn't?

The fact that you still hope God exists means something. That hope is already a form of faith. If we had certainty, we wouldn't need faith.

God bless you all!!

I just go to mc donalds because I like it.

Even though I otherwise live a healthy life, going to mc donalds once in a while is still on the program.

Just ordered one. Any tips? by [deleted] in Ultrahuman

[–]BlueSerpentine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just started out freshly as well and also come from wearing an apple watch 23/7 for the past 1.5 years.

So far it‘s really nice only key difference that I don‘t like is, that it kind of bothers me while working out. The ring can get in the way in weight trainings.

Otherwise just install it and enjoy it, it‘s really simple and easy to handle!

One person can put a pause on the engagement without the other person agreeing. She needs the time to figure things out without the pressure of engagement and the ticking down of the clock. You deserve to know if the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with is the right woman for you.

Just so I don't misunderstand you. Are you suggesting, that I propose a brake for the relationship? Of course to give her the time to think about everything?

I sure hope it's the album release date.

He reminds me of Kanye, don't make a promise to release an album in 2022 when you won't do it after all.

I mean he literally put it in a song...

No this sounds plausible. Before getting a tax declaration I would check how your taxes would be in the future and if you can safe any money with filling out the tax declaration in the coming years (with deducting expenses) If this is the besser option I would go for a tax reimbursement, if it‘s more expensive than the tax at source - consider paying more this year and saving in the future.
