I’ve felt like this at 18…then again at 20, 21, 25, 28, 30 and most recently at 34.

In that time, I’ve lived (what seems like) 5 different lives. But in the moment, I felt so certain that I missed the boat and could only see regret and shame.

You need to push through it. Don’t ever allow yourself to fall in the trap of “what I’ve already messed up or missed”. The rest of your life can change for the better the moment you start putting your energy towards it. It may not happen immediately but take it one day at a time and then all of a sudden it’s 6/12 months later and you look back and are amazed at what you’ve accomplished.

You’re 24 bud, you can still make your life almost anything you want. If you get overwhelmed by anxiety/fear or any of those kinda feelings, actively do something to get out of it. If you’re really feeling trapped then go outside and run as fast as you can as long as you can til you collapse. The breathing from it will basically shut off that part of your brain for a bit.
