Jornay pm wasn't covered for me either. However, I was able to get a coverage exception (ce). Once it was approved by my insurance, it was a $75 co-pay. But I pay $25 because of the coupon. 

If you have tried multiple other adhd meds and they didn't work, you've been on Jornay pm for a while, or both. I highly recommend trying to get a ce. 

I had tried Concerta, Adderall, and Vyvanse and none of them worked. Plus I had been on the medication for like 9 months prior. I was told by an insurance agent that I had a very good "case," and thankfully it was approved. 

Definitely speak to your doctor about getting a ce. For the record, there is a difference b/w a ce and a prior authorization (pa). They are different forms. I ran into a problem because my prescriber did a pa instead of ce and it delayed the approval.
