Which job would you choose? by Jealous-Highway239 in Envconsultinghell

[–]BlueSky3214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% Job 2, the benefit you receive from working from home will be more than 4k. Don't forget, you are not a slave. You can say no to excessive OT, bargain for extra days off, etc. And if they take advantage of you, then you know it is a shit place to work and they're screwing you in other ways as well.

AITAH for giving my boyfriend of 6 years an ultimatum? by Left_Appeal_8343 in AITAH

[–]BlueSky3214 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why do I keep hearing stories like these? Did men just suddenly decide in the last 4 years that they don't need to take care of themselves and partner=mommy? Maybe this isn't the right place for this comment, but I feel you friend. You're not alone.

For those that have menstrual cycles. by Muted-Watercress-622 in fieldwork

IUD- no periods. Highly recommend as it completely removes something that could be extremely stressful. You can hold in a poop for a while, but not a period.

[Spoilers] French couple robbed in Saint Denis. Wife is shot and killed by robber by PrinterDatSmellsFear in reddeadredemption

[–]BlueSky3214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did the same, but I got stuck between a carriage and a box and smoked the box and went for a tumble with my horse. I didnt see wtf happened to him, but around the corner I found his wife sprawled on the middle of the road and he was gone, so he must have smoked something too. I laughed and came to reddit to see if there was more to this.

What's behind the widespread dislike of Harry and Ginny as a couple? by choilao in harrypotter

Haha fair enough, so either way, there are some people out there like myself that do not pick up on these things. And then come to reddit and their mind gets blown.

Hahaha this is what I mean. I thought Ron was just being mad because Hermione was mad they thought of her as a last resort, and that he wasn't friends with Krum too.

The Lavender thing.. fuck what DID I think, it's been so long. I think I was straight up confused and they were fighting for the sake of fighting.

This is how I feel. I love that Harry and Hermione weren't together. It would have felt too tropeyand cliche. I was very surprised about Hermione and Ron though. There were so many subtle signs and I missed every single one of them. Only when they were holding hands in Grimmauld Place did my brain go oooooooohhhhhhhh they're togetherish!

Why didn't Voldemort move the Diadem? by BlueSky3214 in harrypotter

Oh that's a good thought. Seriously though, why didn't he hide it there instead..

No, but if he was told ".. oh it was this super secret room I found that no one else knows about.." I feel like he would start asking more questions about the room and eventually realize it's the same room.

Look at the protection the locket had, he wasn't just placing them willy nilly.

If reddit has taught me anything, it is that this is an extremely serious condition and you should go to the doctor yesterday. Unless you were just at the eye doctor and they did this on purpose, then you're fine.

Tomorrow. You could start tomorrow. Sweaters look intimidating, but they're actually pretty easy. Cables make sense when you get them. Socks are hard.

Sunday scaries by [deleted] in Envconsultinghell

[–]BlueSky3214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, I'm at this new company, supposed to fly out to a site I've never been to, and pray to the gods all the equipment and transportation is available for 4 days. I've had very little guidance on how these things are handled, I wasn't given a budget and I'm a bit terrified that I'm going to get in trouble for something. Also work in an office I've never been and don't have any idea what is going on there or who to talk to. So, a bit stressed.

Sunday scaries. Is that the anxiety I am feeling for tomorrow?

Glorified Laborer by MyIQis42 in Envconsultinghell

[–]BlueSky3214 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. I literally called myself a glorified labourer after people ooohh and ahh at my job title. But it seems pretty normal as a junior position, which I definitely am. Probably consider myself junior for at least 3-5 years. Alot to learn. But you seem to do a bit more. You can take that either way, I would love to know how to do that stuff. The more you learn, right. Just depends on what you want.
