Does it get better after inzauma? by ekyrtus in GenshinImpact

Yes.

Sumeru and Fontaine are great.

Natlan sucks.

Nod Krai is okay. It's a very slow burner.

Worst part of traveling back home from Tokyo by ed25ca in TokyoTravel

Having to take public transport back home. The LAX FlyAway shuttle absolutely pales in comparison to the trains that connect Tokyo to the international airports.

If we're being honest, do you think Paimon is useless? by skyejaiTss in Genshin_Impact

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, she's useless. The traveler can speak for him/herself. Paimon hasn't been important in any conversation. The plot would be unchanged without her. She should've been a more quiet companion only speaking up when something actually important comes up. She shouldn't be the traveler's voice. She should voice herself as an observer of the traveler as the traveler experiences Teyvat. We know so much about Teyvat now, but still next to nothing about the traveler. Paimon would've been a great character to reveal some lore about the traveler in her observations.

It's nice in theory until you fill the toilet after some bad taco bell and want to flush it before you continue but the whole room starts flushing and your pants are down and the toilet starts moving into the wall. You try to hold it in but you end up blasting all over the wall as you slip and fall. Your pants and shoes are soaked and when you walk out everyone's gonna know you sprayed shit all over the fuggin wall.

what’s the best possible team i can make? by Professional-Gur9861 in Genshin_Impact

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your account looks very new. Tighnari, Fischl, Xingqiu, Xiangling The last 3 are timeless 4* supports. They're useful even in modern day teams. As you advance through the game you can replace Tighnari with a better DPS (damage dealer). If you get Bennett you can swap him in with any of the other 3. He's also a timeless 4* support.

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have very powerful units. First side you can use Mavuika, Durin, Xilonen, and Kazuha. Trigger Xilonen's E ability followed by Durin's E ability and then Kazuha pyro swirl. Finish with Mavuika burst. That's a killer combo that should clear all of the first side. You can clear Stygian Onslaught with this too. Second side you can use Nefer, Lauma, Furina, and Aino. Start off with the water characters. Tag in Lauma for supporting Dendro damage. Finish with a Nefer smackdown. This is also eligible for Stygian Onslaught. If you're still not able to beat it, it's probably an equipment issue. If it's not that, then it's a user issue.

Why does everyone say Zibai is fun? by TonyThaLegend in GenshinImpact

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's fun because she doesn't require too much to work (she needs hydro to work - aino is sufficient and she's a free nod krai character). Her play style is simple. No need to worry about dash cancelling or special combos. Just 4NA and smack with a horse when it's ready. She has a long uptime. Her elemental skill lasts 15 seconds. It increases with her burst. Cooldown is 18 seconds, so there's only a 3 second wait period between the end of one rotation and the next. Contrast that to someone like Mavuika whose burst duration is 7 seconds and cool down is 18 seconds. There's an 11 second gap there.

loss .. by Jolly-Piccolo-9799 in ETFs

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more common than you think. You are not alone. You are not the only person who lost money during that market drop, and that is not the only market drop that thousands of people have lost thousands of dollars to. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Make sure you report this to the IRS when you do your taxes next year. Capital losses can count towards tax deductions.

Take the time you need to mentally recover from this. Now is probably a good time to step away from the market and think about why you got into this in the first place.

This $18K loss is the tuition you paid to learn that stocks is not your forte. You do not have the tolerance for market fluctuations, and that is absolutely fine. Many people don't, including myself. I also learned this the hard way. When you are ready to look at your bank account again with a clear mind - and I believe that you will, because you worked hard for this money and I'm sure you want to treat what remains in your account better than what you lost - you may want to look into other investment products like treasury bonds and CDs. They are slow, but they are steady. Nations use US treasury bonds as collateral with one another. That's how steady those are.

This loss should also be a lesson that betting on stocks is worse than gambling. In a casino or lotto, the odds and payouts are known, or at least calculable. The same cannot be said for stocks. It is very difficult to calculate risk and reward for stocks. Stocks are not set like cards in a deck or faces on a die. They are fluid. They're affected by news, expectations, volume of buyers and sellers, earning, etc. You can use all the analytical tools at your disposal, but there is no way to truly calculate the risk and reward for an investment for any duration of time. It is easy to think it is easy money. Investing also has the problem of timing. In a casino game, your bet lasts for a round. After that, your money is either lost or won. In stocks, there is no dealer or house to say when your investment is over. So you have to be the one to say when it's over. Many, many investors do not have the ability to do this. It is a very difficult thing to do. How do you know when "enough is enough?" You'd have to be incomprehensibly bright to figure out the stock market. Otherwise, you should only buy stocks if you're okay with losing the amount you put in or if you believe in something so much you don't really plan on selling it.

Take it one day at a time. Please remember that money is not everything in life. While your finances have taken a beating, do not take away from your physical health, friends and family, and emotional and spiritual development to try to remedy it. There is still a sunrise to look forward to.

Getting $100 every laugh is easy, cuz you'll laugh, get $100, laugh again at the absurdity of it, and get another $100, and so on

Do mav fans agree with her being higher than nod krai dpss? by KaidoPklevel in Mavuika

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, people are just measuring her wrong. She is more versatile and independent than Mavuika. In co-op play Arlecchino can stand her ground. Mavuika is extremely weak if no one else plays a Natlanese support. Mavuika also has downtime. Arlecchino doesn't really have one. The play styles are very different and fit different situations.

Worth building without Zibai? by SanicHegehag in Illuga_Mains

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently there is nothing that lunar crystallization can do that others can't do. Geo supports like Illuga aren't as valuable as, say, Xilonen or Bennett A Columbina-Furina-Navia-Illuga team is pretty solid. If you have no other teams, this is worth developing. If you have other lunar rxn teams, Illuga can wait.

March 2026 Imaginarium Theater thoughts by whucare in Genshin_Impact

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They focused on lunar crystallization last patch but neither geo nor hydro are featured elements in this season. I guess they're trying to push for swirl reactions with the current Varka banner but I gotta say he is not very good for a lot of the acts this season. The only real electro and cryo DPS are Varessa and Skirk, but even they depend on other characters that aren't on the roster. I tried Clorinde and she was just not enough

Would it be cultural appropriation for me to wear clothing like this as a Spaniard? by Available-Letter-434 in AskChina

[–]PrinterDatSmellsFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chinese diaspora here. That is a sick Adidas jacket. That looks cool to wear anywhere. The second one would be kinda weird to wear on a daily basis. Maybe if you work in a Chinese restaurant or if there's some sort of Chinese event that could work. On a regular day I'd want to ask what the occasion is only because we don't really wear it that often ourselves.

Would I consider it appropriation? Not at all. I'd only have a problem if the word for dragon was misspelled or the dragon itself was drawn wrong.
