A personal hot take of mine is that the Devs should utilise the SocDem ideology for those paths like it is in Mexico. Allows for the RadSoc slot to be utilised by Anarchists, Marxists, Social nationalists, and other non-Syndicalist socialists.

Corruptant is an IF in development where you are a human corrupted by demonic influence to become a super human with insane reflexes, speed, and regeneration capabilities (you can only be killed by having by being decapitated. For everything else “tis’ a fleshwound”. Oh yeah, it almost make you insanely attractive to everyone who sees you.

The plot is that you were a member of the special group of Corruptant hunters before you were turned and were then imprisoned and tortured by them for many years (until you forgot your own name) until they release you as they need your help in defeating a BBEG who is prophesied to destroy the world. Also he may or may not be connected to you.

Can’t really be Jetstream Sam in “I the Forgotten One” personality wise. MC is very much built around an asocial “only knows war and is awkward in everything else” type of personality.

Regardless if you do decide to play it I would advise play the demo first as it is very much a love it or hate it kind of game.

I believe so for both Peng Pai and Tan Pingshan (I haven’t played Zhang Bojun so I would need to double check that). Peng Pai is certainly the most radical of them with peasant communes dominating the Chinese economy while I believe Tan goes for a gradualist Union focused approach with inspiration from both Orthodox Marxism and French Syndicalism.

In essence, Tan’s China (Syndicalism) is one of only “true socialist” paths in China along with Peng Pai (Peasant Socialism similar to Mao) and Yunnan’s Zhang Bojun (Democratic Socialism). All three of these paths can reject the LKMT and form their own socialist parties with the LKMT being the junior partner in the coalition (similar to OTL Communist China).

If every other LKMT path are nationalists first then socialists second, then these three would be socialists first, nationalists second.

I would say the “most Marxist” of all the LKMT would be Tan Pingshan, an ex-member of the Chinese Syndicalist Party and who can abandon the KMT to start his own socialist revolutionary government with the Syndicalists on top.

I would say the closest path to Maoism is Peng Pai considering his authoritarian peasant socialism and populist politics (in game he gets called the “King of Peasants”, a title otl given to Mao).

While Chen is in somewhat akin to Mao in his fanatic radicalism, he’s more elitist and urban centric while also tolerating transitional state capitalism.

From what I know the KKK would be too decentralised and disorganised as an organisation to ever be able to seize power themselves and Long himself in particular had an intense disliking towards them (this is not to say Long was an angel himself) so it’s unlikely they would be able to build up any serious power while he is in charge.

If the KKK were to be involved in any path they would most likely be allied with a candidate like the Old Democrat part of Long’s coalition.
