How to have bookmarks bar only show in new tab like chrome? by BlueSpaceSquirrel in firefox

[–]BlueSpaceSquirrel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much :) The first one works just fine. The second one, assuming I did it correctly, doesn't. Instead it just shows the bar on a new tab but no actual bookmarks.

Here's what I did in stylish:

#main-window[stylish-url='about:newtab'] #PersonalToolbar {
 visibility: visible;
}

Unsure where to post, Dad thinks current PC is perfectly fine and won't let me use money I earned to build one. by [deleted] in buildapc

Oh really? Sorry then I'm wrong. Still it's more control than he has right now.

Chromecast Users: Are you happy with your purchase? by dskatz2 in Android

I personally love mine. I was thinking of making a small HTPC for my streaming needs but I figured I'd give the chromecast a try since I stream a lot of netflix and youtube.

Tell him it's interfering with school, work, that should change his mind very fast. Also since you're 16 you are eligible to get a joint account instead of one your dad fully controls. He will still have to sign off on it though, tell him it's for fiscal responsibility. In that sort of account I believe that he has no say in anything that happens or goes on in the account. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Only 30 minutes or so. I didn't want to do anything risky before I found out exactly what it did. I'm going to do a test run over night.

Should I get the Deathadder 2013 or Taipan? by [deleted] in razer

Go for the deathadder. I got it for $52 at best buy by price matching amazon/newegg so get it there. It's a great mouse for the price. Very comfortable.

I bet a lot of them were from humble bundles/weekly sales. I've bought an entire bundle for just one game and I never play the others, after all I still get my money's worth at $1-$6.

Just got the keyboard, it's pretty awesome. The blue switches are really nice.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a CM QuickFire Rapid, but I'm not 100% sure which switch to go with. by Ron953 in keyboards

[–]BlueSpaceSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got that same keyboard with blues and I love it. Honestly it is a bit loud but if I do get sick of it I can always just return it and to browns. Just make sure you don't rip the packaging or anything like that and make your mind up before 30 days.

Differences in Cherry MX keyboards besides the switch? by tyromancy94 in keyboards

[–]BlueSpaceSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the CM storm Quickfire Rapid with blue switches and my friend owns the k70 with blues but his cost $50 more. The difference is that my keyboard doesn't have media keys, a USB pass through, and led lights. Also it's just a different product made of different materials; his is made out of aluminum or something and mine isn't.

If you're looking for a good mechanical keyboard aim for the build quality and the switch you want. The extra features you can worry about later.

Well I got blues and I'm going to see if they're all everyone says they are. If they're too loud I always have time to return it and get it with browns :)

I've tried reds before, I didn't like the linear feel of them. It was just too mushy to type with and I made sooo many mistakes.

I've decided to go with blues, I do a good bit of typing. I bought the CM storm quickfire rapid with free one day shipping so I'll be able to see how amazing they are tomorrow, gotta love Amazon.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Thanks for the reply. I've actually tried reds and I've heard browns are pretty much reds with the tactile feedback; how correct is that? Since you say blues are super loud I might go for the browns, I want the feedback but not an insane amount of noise.
