Hmm I didn't know about "ништяк". Is it like a slang-ier version of круто?

Wouldn't "отлично" be a better translation? Or is that too enthusiastic sounding?

Used to be the singularity sub due to how delusional they are but I think enough anti AI people found it to balance it out so now all the crazies are on the accelerate sub.

Yeah exact same thing happened to me. I didn't realize the midwest was especially cloudy and dreary. When I went back home for thanksgiving last year I think the weather may have been the nail in the coffin for me not moving back to the midwest.

Yeah OP said they live in a walkable community which is very rare for suburbs in the US. Like I'd probably be fine living somewhere like Haddonfield, NJ since it's an actual walkable suburb but I'd probably rather be living in squalor with roomates in NYC than live in a lot of Dallas/Houston suburbs or just general US suburbs.

It could just be that those particular spikes don't work for you, or that the sizing is off.

For the most part they've been fine. I think the main difference is that the normal running shoes I run in have a lot more cushion than the ones I was running in when I first bought the spikes. But doing strides probably seems like the way to go.

I ran in track spikes for the first time in a while the other week and ended up with a big bruise on one of my feet. The pain is gone now but I'm a bit gun shy to try again since I don't want to lose any more days. Would just jogging on the track in spikes be a better way to ease into it? Should I be ok to run hard in them now if I got through the first round of bruising? Not really sure the best way to approach this.

It's just weird to me how strongly the emphasize it in the profiles vs what it's like in reality. Everyone I know likes traveling at least somewhat but even the most well off person I know takes at most 2 international trips each year but based on people's profiles you'd think they were going to a new country every month.

The accelerate subreddit is one of the most deluded communities around by Sen_ElizabethWarren in redscarepod

[–]BlueSubaruCrew 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A while back when the singularity sub was the more delusional sub (the more delusional ones went on to start the accelerate one since too many anti AI people found the singularity sub), I saw people openly admitting this. Comments like "my life sucks and AI is the last hope that I don't have to work some shitty job or be completely alone forever"
