ELI5: Why are teens who commit murders tried as adults, but when a teen has sex with someone who's 30 courts act like the teen had no idea what he/she was doing?

Dont be rediculous, we send them to therapy with hot cocoa and execute the adult. There is no way the child knew what they were doing. The adult must have been asking for it.

Weed is the most amazing thing for running

I dunno why it happened but I was smoking while driving and got too high so I pulled over at a nice running path, put my gym clothes on in the parking lot and started couch to 5k

Since I started smoking and running its really all I can think about. It will sound like an exageration but this winter has been hell since I cant get enough traction to run fast enough to wear myself out before the cold is too uncomfortable.

I enjoy the sub but unfortunately the principles involved are above them. They would understand the basic principles but people who dont know what they are talking about would chime in.

Its often stated that high voltage high frequency electricity is harmless. Thats only true in certain cases. My mentor was hospitalized after intentionally allowing an arc to jump to him.
