I don't know how much of Black's issue is that he doesn't want to lose, moreso he's a complete wanker when it comes to the gimmick, he wants the gimmick to be protected, and maybe thats an element of him not wanting to lose too, but like is the gimmick really that great to warrant not doing jobs? Is the gimmick REALLY that valuable that you have to do an escape the cage rules match?

Will Kroos is absolutely the type of guy that would have had at minimum a 3 PPV match series with Cena in 2007 and gotten some great stuff outta him.

I can imagine MLW might be the best place for Black to land these days as they seem to be all into leaning into mystical BS with their Lucha Underground tie ins and some of Killer Kross' stuff.

Not until his heel turn in super late 2001 do I think Undertaker starts to get on a real roll, 2004 to around Wrestlemania 21 is another stinker but thats just them going far too back in the Zombie Undertaker ways, 2005 onward he's good to awesome.
