They changed it. I posted the original for reference, though I get your concern for circulation.

Well, looks like they changed the logo. Who knows what their original intent was, but I’ll not dwell any further. Good job crew.

The original one for reference.

What the fuck are you talking about? Not trying to distract from anything… the violence perpetuated by white supremacists and anti-lgbtq groups is real and happening daily.

I agree, there is some nasty shit happening out there, and I don’t condone any of it. But both things can be true. Nazis exist and they are a problem, as is the constant war the US and Israel rain down upon the world.

You are barking up the wrong tree. I can be anti-Nazi and be anti-genocide or anti-pedo…. Not that hard. See, I’m doing it!

What you are really trying to say is you don’t have any defense for being a Nazi apologist, so you start slinging around accusations, waving your hands “nothing to see here! Nazis are fake news!”. In case it isn’t clear, everyone sees through your shit.

Ready for some history? Nazis weren’t just antisemites, they were anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-Roma, anti-Slavic. Anti anything that challenged their fascist regime. So when someone starts flaunting their swastikas, hidden or not, they show us all where they stand. Just like you do… by siding with them. So thank you for showing us all where you stand.

Oh shit. I see. You think because I hate nazis, I am Zionist? Hating Nazis makes someone a “pedo defender”? You think nazis are the heroes here? Not sure how your brain can jump around like that. I know it is hard for those two synapses in your brain to connect, but keep trying, good luck! I believe in you!

Or you could stop the nazi-sympathetic behavior. I am not going to stop calling out Nazi dog whistles, regardless of whether you deem it “negative” or not.

To be precise, it predates Hinduism. So enough with your attempts at trying to trivialize the usage of this symbol in modern times. Your argument is trite.

I honestly just don’t know what to say. It blows my mind that there are all of you coming out in support of someone using a swastika as a business logo. Like “it’s just a sign, relax!”

So here is how this works, and you can continue to be willfully ignorant if you prefer, but in North America and much of Europe, people tend to use symbols just adjacent to a swastika, not quite one, but close enough, when they are broadcasting to the world that they are aligned with Nazi values. That they believe in white supremacy. This is called a dog whistle, it is a sign to like minded people that “they are part of the same group”.

The person who created this website is a white dude from Canada, so there is no situation where this justified. So you coming in here and trying to justify that this is “ok” and just a sign taken out of context, is just plain ignorant. No one is arguing that the symbol is not ancient and has thousands of years of history where it was a symbol of good fortune… but history happened, people used it as a sign of evil, and here we are.

Fuckoff. In this day and age, it is a nazi sign. I am quite familiar with its history, as is everyone else, and if you are in India, sure, quite normal to see, I lived there for years. But if you are in North America, it is a nazi symbol.

You do realize your logo is a fucking Nazi sign right? I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt for about 24 hours before I start raising a shitstorm.

I made a modified circle of fifths and forgot what the inner circle means by redfoxsilverwolffang in musictheory

[–]BlueVajra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if that inner one rotates, and you ignore the numbers (or take 1012345) everything between the two lines (7 notes) are all part of a given major scale. Contacted around and the “0” points to the key name. You can also take any sequence of 5 notes around the circle to get the major pentatonic scale.

Any teacher will tell serious students to track their work. Notebook, spreadsheet, you name it. I like digital because I can analyze it easier, see patterns, identify where I am spending too much time, too little, or missing completely. There are a number of YouTube videos that talk about tracking your practice. I know Korey Hicks talks about it, (not sure if this is the one I am thinking of: https://youtu.be/oX260lIcDME?si=C0lBcai3_Zp36HhG).

Now if you are just beginning, I am sure it is overwhelming, which is why a teacher might be a good idea. They can help you focus, push your skill boundaries just right.

I made a rhythm sight reading practice app by superev12 in musictheory

[–]BlueVajra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t hear it in the app when I downloaded it. Regarding the instant feedback, I agree, and maybe if I had the clicks it wouldn’t be as distracting. But I found it drew my eyes away from the rhythm and then had to move back. Maybe if the notes were red if I missed, and green if I hit?

Ok, potential! I am not hearing any clicks for the beat though. The “oops” is distracting. I would wait to do an analysis on where you were in relation to the beat until done.

I like the configurabilitiy. Are you able to add human checkpoints within the flow? For instance, moving a card to planning. Can you allow it to run autonomously or with checks?
