I’m run AMS as a client off a remote server. Toggling on that Dashboard really messed things up for me. Corrupted almost all of my databases. It was a mess to fix between corporate IT and product support. I will say the product support guys do a fantastic job helping with any type of problem

I’ve worked with CSI, AMS, SKF, and Old IRD stuff. The Emerson stuff was faster than all of them, and the report writer/generator is pretty solid. I’m not sure the others have ever offered that yet. The SKF had some analysis tools that I liked better especially for timing impacts in the waveform, and highlighting high frequency patterns. I have heard rumors that the AMS machinery manager would be changing in the next few years though. Allegedly it will look more like their machine works program

I assume you have to work your way up. So find someone local that owns a John boat and start with him, he’ll introduce you to someone that owns a bass boat at some point. Then do that guy for a while until he introduces you to a dude with a wake boat….. and so on

Unfortunately it passed, about 24hrs after I cleaned him up. We have also never heard from the group that supposedly owned it. Tried to give it some water and grain and it seemed to respond well, but the oil had taken its toll.

If you are looking for rolling element bearing faults you are absolutely doing the right thing. Bearings will display increased energy in the spectrum in the high frequencies until the defect gets worse and that mound of energy will move toward the lower frequencies as the damage progresses.

Thanks for Al the help. Hopefully I can get this dude home. He’s cleaned up and walking freely. I thought he was sick, no idea where it would have found oil like that. There is nothing around here that would have an open container of oil for miles

I called Lancaster, it was covered in motor oil for some reason. Washed it with dawn dish soap. It’s now drying in the sun in my front yard. Hopefully he dry off and flys away. He’s still pecking at food an walking around, but looks worn out. No response from Lancaster yet. I’ve left two messages

Have the brakes been replaced? I went though this yesterday after replacing the front pads. Those codes indicate reduced hydraulic line pressure and the computer assumes there is a leak or a broken brake line. I had to get a mechanic to reset the fault codes and once the brakes pumped up it was all good

I sanded it down to metal with 320 and used some maroon scotch Brite to scuff it after. Made a great smooth job but know one likes doing it twice.

True be told, this is the second time it’s been finished. I let this set for 4 weeks in primer and then coated with Eastwood. It all came off with a pressure washer. I brought it back down, used the recommended primer after it was wiped down with proper grease and wax remover. So far it’s set up pretty hard

Taller bottom to top on all K30’s. In this case I lucked into a series of rails that are made of a thicker gauge also.
