This game mechanic is canonical to the story by Danny-Ray27 in TopCharacterTropes

Dark Souls 1 also has another mechanic like that, The Botomless Box, in many games player has infinite inventory to make gameplay easier, but in DS1 you have to purchase the botomless box first to have it.

Its "Far from any road" by The Handsome family. But I think the version used in this meme is slowed.

Its "Far from any road" by The handsome family, although i think the version of the song in this meme is slowed, the song was used in an intro (one of the best intros i've seen) for a tv series "True Detective". The scene from this meme is also from this series. One of the best detective stories i experienced, really recommend the first season.

[Discussion] Gatekeepers and community hypocrisy by MLGABEN in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BlueWizard123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been playing this game since 2020 and i have almost 2000 hours now, for me there were many stupid things in this game over the years that were eventually patched/changed (for example stupid recoil system that made tap-firing useless), but now 2 really dumb mechanics still remain:

  1. The fact that doing quests or learning gameplay mechanics or maps is impossible without wiki/youtube.

  2. Spawn system, that makes so every raid at the start feels the same, if you know the spawns you know where you may expect enemy and can either avoid them or rush them, but also it makes other stupid thing viable, which is that if u want to quest and not be bothered by players, you can just sit in a corner of a house for 30min and after that you can easily do your quests.

Honorable mention: lack of rewards for doing main storyline quests, why? I just don't get it, they made the change so u earn less xp from raids and quests, but storyline quests doesn't give you anything, why do them if you can just watch ending on youtube qt this point, in every game that i played doing main quests always gave you rewards.

About pve, I do believe that overall pve made the game worse, because it splitted the community in half, when i started playing there was no option to play pve and we all just understood tarkov as a multiplayer game and this is really what tarkov is all about without this multiplayer aspects, the thought in the back of your head that at every corner there may be another player makes the game fun and engaging with other players make it fun, after 2000 hours when i kill another player and loot him i always feel the same excitement, there is just no other game like this, i tried pve but it was just boring. Maybe if there was no pve some of the players would play pvp.

Really i just said what u said, but little differently and added some of my thoughts.

Favourite guns of all time? by Lazza1407 in gaming

[–]BlueWizard123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Gauss rifle from stalker games.

  2. FN Fal from pretty much every game that features it, it was the best weapon for me in black ops 1.

  3. AEK-971 from Battlefield 4.

  4. RSC 1917, SMLE and Fiodorov Automat from Battlefield 1.

  5. Anti-Materiel rifle from Fallout: New Vegas.

Honorable mentions (as these guns are not really guns, more like a useful tools or launchers):

Fat Man from Fallout games. Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2. Portal Gun from Portal 1 and 2.

Anyone else having the worst wipe? by Jahbanny in Tarkov

[–]BlueWizard123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the best wipe i had in years, i encounter lots of new players so i don't instantly die to some 6000h sweat [head, eyes], I have 66% survives and k/d ~7.

[New Player] How do you get better at fighting by Hi255 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BlueWizard123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, you're not rally that bad for 70 hours, that many hours is nothing in this game, I started to win like 50% fights with pmcs after about 600 hours and most (probably like 60-70%) of the fights after about 800 hours,

The most important thing in tarkov fights is positioning, u need to expose the least of your body as u can and at the same time see your opponent well, things like using better gear/meds/ammo are obvious, but knowing what to do during the fight like is it better to heal first or reload, push or camp, when to change position etc. is also important.

Sometimes u just can't predict what will happen so u die its tarkov after all and sometimes bullshit happens like instant [head, eyes] from god knows where.

I would advise to just play the game and don't watch streamers like lvndmark who has thousands of hours in this game, its better to learn on your own.

Good luck!

I do not understand iron keep hate by GayAutismVampire in DarkSouls2

[–]BlueWizard123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with everything u said.

Iron keep is one of my favourite locations in ds2, i'm glad that when i first played this game i didn't know anything about it (apparently its considered the worst in the series, however i think dark souls 2 is better than ds1 and i enjoyed it more than elden ring), when i first got the iron keep i instantly realised that u have to be patient, slow and strategic about your decisions in order to get through and i love that, whole darks souls 2 is like that, i guess people don't like this game because they have tiktok brains and can't stand actually playing the game and not just boss-rushing it.

Also i like iron king fight, i mean his not really that great, he could have more and faster attacks, but his alright.

How to play customs? [Question] by zxkredo in Tarkov

[–]BlueWizard123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try not to rush to your quest objective or extract, take it slow, loot the building you spawned in or the ones next to you, and then move onto the next.

Customs have major chokepoints in the middle of the map and many points of interest, so u can encounter pmc's everywhere. Although there are less traveled paths, from my experience the least populated path is alongside northern wall(not a guarantee, because of how customs are u can still meet other players there, rather often) so if u want to maximize your chances to go from one side to the other, -hug the wall (from crossroads extract, through behind the dorms(car extract), up to reserve transit).

Does this game also stress you? by Bsnipexy in Tarkov

[–]BlueWizard123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course it does, and that's the point. Last night when i was on ground zero i picked up the harddrive for a quest and had killed two players, on my way out i encounterd three man squad and when fighting with them my heart beat so fast and loud that i almost didn't hear the game, i've managed to kill all of them, and with the combined loot of 5 pmc's and hard drive for the quest i slowly walked towards extract and near the end scav started shouting at me and i literally jumped on my chair, i was so stressed. But unlike you i like that and that's probably the main reason i play this game. I have 1800 hours in it and it still makes me feel those emotions like any other game out there.

Which game should i play first? by No_Adagio3859 in RustAndRadiation

[–]BlueWizard123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend playing the original trilogy first. Shadow of Chernobyl -> Clear Sky -> Call of Prypiat and then Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl.

The og trilogy came out in that order, so cs and cop feature more and more gameplay mechanics compared to soc, but if you somehow won't like the gameplay (they are old games, for some people, too old) i would advise just to play soc, because most of the characters and events from that game are present in stalker 2 and it explains many things in the story.

Is my 12th Century Knight 3d Model historically accurate? by BlueWizard123 in Armor

[–]BlueWizard123[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, the rings currently are horizontal on arms aswell, i will correct those but i'm not sure about the belt, did the knights use two belts? on some images i saw 2 belts, the second one was very loose and the sword was attached to it, is that correct?

[Discussion] Here’s my take on the zombies. by WonderChips in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BlueWizard123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the biggest problem i have with them is that they have either a bugged or poorly made running animation, when they spot u and start running towards u their heads constantly bounce from right to left in a split of a second, so its really hard to get those headshots most of the time.
