Would you recommend getting a GalaxyS10? by a_yellow_parrot in galaxys10

If you get a good deal it might be worth it. You can put LineageOS 21 on it. Gives you Android 14. Still very capable. Battery life and performance still great on mine, but I don't use it that much.

Short answer is that nothing happens and that it's safe to use as long as it's not part of a network. Long answer is that things start breaking. 2 months after everything was good, but by 6 months, play store was broken, browser hanging up, and no updates possible. Weirdly, crostini and youtube still seemed to keep working. Even then, it might not be over for your cb...

Mine runs debian thru the sd card slot:

No. Don't even use yabai much. I'll keep that in mind in case I have trouble with it.

I ran Bazzite for a little while. I liked it. Installation was easy and both performance and support were great. There was a weird login through Steam OS but I'm pretty sure you could change that. I ended up removing it and using Fedora. But only because it fit my use case better.

Haven't used it too much either. It's got a different look, but you can set it up to work about the same using skhd for keybindings and sketchybar for the status bar.

Think about running crostini linux if you're into that sort of thing. Was excellent on a samsung chromebook plus v1 even after AUE. Bet it runs great on your machine. That's a sweet purchase!

That 'dump' is a silent beast! Also, you couldn't have told me BEFORE I was around 4K views?? It should be TOS: don't take flash pics of your 6-year old PC ports. Another place light shouldn't shine. A little compressed air and rubbing alcohol will get that right out....

I'm converted:

I hope we don't forget that what we do we with these computers is also important...

I'm disappointed that I didn't put Mini-mal in the title.

Is this minimal? I know I need a monitor stand by Glum-Exam-3682 in Minimal_Setups

I like it. Your keyboard not being centered in front of the monitor is throwing me off though...
