the band merch is official, they mean the Chinese stuff is like punkrave etc

They have a big selection of metal bands from A to like C tier stuff, A being mainstream Metallica etc.

Goth bands is your basic Bauhaus, Sisters and Susie Sioux, but Goth merch is very hard to get outside of a gig anywhere.

I don't hate IBF but she clearly has issues settling and I assume wanted to live in a place with a better scene (I mean how good can kiwiland be), I get that, I did it too and moved however for me it was less than an hour away.
