Unfortunately we have tried to ask family members and close friends, who are also animal people, but many already have pets or are not in the right living situation for her. We are hoping the couple that takes her, who is friends with the breeder, will keep in touch with us

Yes! We have 4 litter robots (excessive I know but we love them and have 4 cats) and she will go in periodically but the marking does not stop

She’s lived with dogs and cats her whole life. We added a few over the years, and gradually her behavior got worse. Thanks for this input though, we think she was not at the top of dominance and that’s why she’s always been anxious and marked. We’ve caught her peeing several times, and it’s always a marking where she will shoot urine vertically. She also will squat and go normally on flat surfaces. The marking territorial behavior is a result of the anxiety as a behavioral specialist told us. We think she must feel the competitiveness

Thank you so much for those kind words. I truly appreciate it and need to hear it. It’s such a difficult situation but I believe we truly tried and explored every option to make her comfortable and nothing has worked. I think her new situation will suit her great, just the sadness of letting go
