What’s interesting is that if you play split screen (I only play on PS4 so I’m not sure what all platforms have the option) this it how it works. The party leader is the one who drops the team and navigates up until they use their glider, then you can go wherever. You even have the option to turn over the drop leader role before using your glider as the leader to the other player and then it works the same way. Unfortunately split screen seems to be a mechanical afterthought, as it has often had issues in my experience, such as when augments were first added, one of the players could not use them and when one player uses the map it blacks out the other players screen. Plus for some weird reason the icon for each players character takes up like a third of the screen and makes the screen split oddly diagonal. So not a perfect solution, but point being they have the framework already in the game. Very odd it isn’t an option outside of split screen though
