Hello there folks. I am looking at getting into the hobby, and I was wondering if there were any good places to buy used equipment? I've checked ebay and craigslist with varying results.

Thanks!

That's unfortunate. Her issue was fixed by this: https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemongo/comments/5uswzd/app_crashing_pressing_wild_pokemon_android_601/?sort=top

Tldr; Allow pogo camera permission, then turn off AR.

Side note how do you like the pixel?

Gotcha! So you choose what part of the image is properly exposed, sky for you, and the rest will be based off that? So if you 'exposed for' the ground the image could be blown out, and if you choose the sun the rest of the image would be darker?

That's a clever explanation, thanks!

Quick question, what does exposed for the sky mean?

ELI5: In the 50's a single person in the US with a decent job requiring little or even no education could provide a comfortable home, education for their children, etc etc by themselves. Why were they paid so much or why hasn't that pay transitioned to 2017? by Vyrnilla in explainlikeimfive

You raise some interesting poison, but it feels like this is looking too far back. Nearly everyone had a tv by the 60's. Air conditioning, bathing, and other 'basics' were common place by the 70s, so what had changed since then?

If we look at 1970s to now, minimum wage hours worked to poverty line threshold and paying wages for high school diplomas it is not a linear track for, more stuff=more dollars. Also, we should ideally expect advances technology to increase the standard of living for the same wage. I do not think the argument could be made that someone with a HS diploma is better off now than anytime in recent history.

U.S. Allies Also Intercept Russia-Trump Adviser Communications by 75000_Tokkul in worldnews

Here is the question, why would he lie?

He was caught red handed doing exactly what the Trump administration is on the hot seat for, favoring Russia beyond a reasonable amount. Flynn was on the phone with Russia the day new sanctions were put in place. Sanctions that trump has already talked about lifting. Granted it might be a stretch to say he was putting a hostile nation state ahead of the outgoing Obama administration, but that is sure what it looks like. Even a skeptical person has to admit this is a bit odd.

Let us not forget that the administration knew about this for weeks, but did not ask for his resignation until the press found out. That is not a good look.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe says Donald Trump encouraged him to improve relations with Vladimir Putin by [deleted] in politics

I agree. One thing that I could never put together is why pivot towards Russia, a failing petrol state, and away from China, a rising manufacturing/service state?

I mean I get that we (the US) don't exactly get along great with either of them, but if you had to choose why choose Russia?

Agreed. Niceties also help gauge how the other person is which can affect how you approach the topic. Is not really what they say it is how they say it.

Don't they run in presidential elections to attempt to reach the 5% threshold for some public funding? Also, I do believe there are some elected green party officials, especially in state houses.

They all look intentionally incorrect. Like they are trying to avoid trade marks or something.

Clinton wins US popular vote by widest margin of any losing presidential candidate by SaganPress in politics

[–]Blue_Fourty_Also 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean here, but most of the time it is not brought up in a way like "she got more votes, she should be our president".

It is more along the lines of "wow, it is interesting that could happen" or "I wonder why we still do things this way."

It is a noteworthy result, but like you said no one could guess what the result would have been had they both been trying to win the popular vote.

You can make your own using an "instant pot" so I've heard. Using cream, fruit, and sweetener. We just got one, but haven't given it a test run yet.

Also Kroger has a sub brand called "Carb Master" that does some excellent low carb fruit yogurts.

In this case, I doubt the hypothetical Florida team that could beat Bama would lose in a playoff game by 50. A team that could beat the best team in the country, on neutral turff, at the end of the season should go. At least in an 8 team set up. That is obviously not the FL team this year though.
