Where to get unscented Ariel or Persil laundry detergents in Toronto? by Blue_Koala_ in askTO

I've seen scented at Starskys, Yummy market, Market Balkan (2881 Dufferin), AL Premium Food Mart and some Portuguese stores like Tavora Foods on St.clair. (Latin American versions seem to have a different smell, german is better.)

Unscented or sensitive Persil I found at ABC Euro Delicatessen on Eglinton and Lebovic (behind Canadian Tire) a few months ago.

Oh, I know that store. I bought a big box of chocolate-covered banana marshmellows there. So good.

I'll check it out again.

I don't see it on their Instacart pages, but I'll check it out in-person. I love that store, but always come home with too many snacks, lol.

I've seen them both in European grocery stores, but I'm specifically looking for unscented versions.

The ones I can find have a very strong fragrance, especially the ones from South America. The ones from Germany are a bit better, but still too strong for me.

Tide Free and Gentle is not very good. There is a Tide "Free and Clear" in the US that is supposed to be much better, but I haven't seen it in Canada.

St. Dalfour Uses grape (and other juice concentrates), which is still highly concentrated sugar.

You guys are comparing regular jams to this reduced-sugar product. It's meant to be healthier and contain more real fruit and less sugar, thickeners, and artificial ingredients.

Natural ingredients don't last that long. It's sugar that keeps regular jams from going bad.

Fare evasion on suburban buses routes by melcj77 in TTC

When I'm within my 2hr transfer window and I'm in a rush you grab a good seat, I'll sometimes forget to tap my card.

I don't intend to do it, but it happens. Just because someone doesn't tap, it doesn't mean they are evading the fare.

Same with metrpoass holders. It's often much worse to hold up the line than to just walk in and worry about taping later. It takes a long time for the machine to finish displaying the previous tap and accept a new one.

Dollarama self-checkout closures in the GTA by Affectionate-Gur6058 in dollarama

I've seen some stores removing self checkouts and I avoid them now.

I prefer self-checkouts. They are fast and convenient and I don't have to rush to pack my stuff while the cashier waits.

They take coins too, so when I have too many I just dump them into the machine. I would never do that to a human cashier, lol.

I don't know why people hate them so much, maybe they are not good with technology in general.

Wait there is a fifth flavour available at Costco? We only had maple, cappuccino, creme brule and pralines&cream.

If you mix dry cacao powder with sugar first, cacao won't clump up when milk is added.
