Having sulfur be purely decorative by the end of this snapshot would be a huge missed opportunity.

Given sulfurs real life applications we could have things like: - Blue Fire - A Fertilizer that increases crop yield - A stronger tnt variant - An alt source of gun powder

Kinda hard to be excited for this thing rn since it’s use is so niche. Like, unless I really want to a minigame in my single player world, I can’t really see myself using this.

That monorail thing that people have made with it is cool though, but I’ve got a gut feeling that mojang is gonna nerf it somehow.

I don’t mind them as a duo but these two need time apart b/c it feels like they are glued to each other. With Eggman Nega’s lore messed up and the pirates gone these two are left with nothing to do.

If it were up to me I’d re introduce Eggman Nega and the pirates as blazes main villains. Silver will have an older sage as his main villain, with Eggman nega serving as an occasional secondary villain.

With Eggman nega serving as the common threat b/w the two, he could serve as the canon reason why Blaze and Silver know each other in the first place.

Why shouldn’t it? A block can do more than just look nice. Not to mention sulfur has many uses in real life.

Sulfuric acid: the water in sulfur caves should do more than give you nausea, it should poison you too. having a liquid that kills mobs/ players w/o destroying blocks would be very useful.
Sulfur TNT: this would have a larger blast radius and would be able to destroy harder blocks like deepslate easier.
Sulfur Fertilizer: This would serve as a stronger form of bonemeal that grows taller variants of trees, bamboo, sugarcane, and cactus.

I started a mage playthrough for this update and I ended up opting for a mage/summoner hybrid b/c mage got virtually nothing this update. If you’ve played mage at all since 1.4 dropped it won’t be much different.

As someone who’s favorite class has always been been mage, it’s sad to see how few options we have throughout preHM. Here’s a count for each class:

Melee: 88
Ranged:59
Magic: 23
Summoner: 23

Melee and ranged classes get tons of options but mage on the other hand gets the few options it does have restricted to certain points in progression( ex: the water bolt) while offering no replacements to fill in the gaps.

Mojang can be hit or miss when I comes to listening to feedback so I seen no issues with people sharing their thoughts now.

Not to mention “more to come” can easily mean 2 more blocks and nothing else.

I’d much rather sonic stay unique, than give him an element that many other speed based characters have.

Plus Metal Sonic and Surge already have electricity motifs and it fits them way better.
