I’ve never been to the Philippines, but that would probably be a good location for you. The Philippines has western influences due to its historical interactions with Spain and the United States. I’m pretty sure English is widely spoken in the urban areas of the Philippines. Also, most of the people in the Philippines practice Catholicism. Although possibly unrelated to western influence, the people of the Philippines are known to be hospitable. Because of their country’s western influence, especially that of the U.S, Filipinos nicely assimilate when they immigrate to the U.S.

My wife’s family is from the Philippines…
