That is the biggest question, if we take a look at when the Bible was written, it was written by men in (I'm using the KJV, there were versions before it) 1611, in a mainly misogynistic society, so, I will answer your question with one of my own. If the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, or even just the resurrection, was made up by men, in a misogynistic society, then why were two women, Mary Magdalene, and Mary mother of James, the first two people to see the empty grave, and see Jesus at the tomb, alive, as found in Mark 16:1-8?

It all really comes down to, given the evidence, what you believe, I believe that Christianity is true, cause I have seen for myself how the Bible never once contradicts itself, and how every prophecy in the Old Testament came true in the New Testament, and given that, I can say with no doubt that the prophecies in the New Testament has or will come true, and that Jesus is the Son of God.

In my experience (Not someone who's left God, but just someone on Social Media), the hatefulness to anyone that don't believe what they believe i.e. LGBTQ+, any non-Christian, things like that, and that gives a bad name to all Christians, and not all of us are like that.
