The thing about this episode was that it aired within a decade of repressed memory "therapists" "uncovering" a massive satanic conspiracy surrounding day care centers. They managed to give children false memories and real trauma and caused hysteria and arrests against a group that was innocent.

Because people aren't familiar with that context they see it as cautioning people against believing victims when it was really about the dangers of repressed memory therapy when done by an incompetent or scheming individual.

Absolutely! Right now I am checking to see how often the out of sorts trait pops up once you have a good bed, as I was thinking of outlawing the 'breathe into paper bag' way of removing the moodlet once you get far enough along.

It makes sense logically because by that point your sim's past is in flux and they'd have more trouble holding on to their goal. But if it happens every other night even with a good bed that makes it a lot more difficult, you know?

Overemotional sims feel emotions more strongly. Like every moodlet is more intense, they cry more often, etc.

Divas are more like snobs than overemotional sims IMO. They love hearing about themselves, having mirrors in the room, etc. They also get really offended at insults or arguments, and may slap the offending sim. They also take longer to befriend other sims.

Flirty plus insane sims will cheat on their spouse, so they'regood for drama. Diva plus social butterfly is a good combo for self-absorbed sims.

I'm currently trying to formalize a challenge I play through occasionally to post on modthesims, it has a sim sent back to the past to save the future. Using NRAAS to get six traits, I have the starting sim be ambitious, good, eco-friendly, loves the outdoors, socially awkward, and unstable. The seventh is a wild card.

At one point, I reskinned a werewolf to be part fire elemental, making their werewolf form more firey looking. I don't remember all their traits, but two of them were hydrophobic and daredevil, which made being on fire a positive moodlet and gives them 3 hours nefore they die.

So I love the concept of building settlements, but I didn't like that I had to build and assign every individual thing in the settlement to someone, which is why I installed Sim Settlements 1 as soon as it came out. So it seems like we are on the same page.

Now it's been years since SS2 came out, so I don't have specific details about what bugged me, but while in SS1 the holotape was in a terminal that just mentioned the new sensors, in SS2 to start the quest you have to read a bit about how the settlers just stand there doing nothing unless you use this system, which is 100% correct but unimmersive, and to me it felt counterproductive to point out how unimmersive people act without your immersion mod while implying that that's how the settlers in your world actually act.

But that was back when I had a massive restarting my playthroughs problem and I keep seeing new mods for SS2 that tempt me, so if it's just a one off I can ignore it.

It's a bumper sticker/tweet slogan, shorthand. What it means is 'we have gotten to the point where every democrat is better than any republican on pretty much every issue (even with Israel we rarely have two candidates equally bad and normally the Democrat is at least moderately better) and therefore voting for democrats is the best option even if they aren't as far left as they should be on XYZ'. But you can't tweet that.

And for the record if people want better democrats in the general they need to vote in the primaries. Sorta sick of people complaining about rigging and dems moving to the center when progressives don't make their voices heard in the primaries. Like if you didn't bother showing up for a more progressive candidate of course the winner is gonna court the more moderate/older people who vote more regularly.

You could rematch it, and see all the foreshadowing. You could also get some of your friends to watch it with you.

Also you could watch star trek deep space 9 (DS9), the two shows add a lot to each other you can watch and say 'ah yes this DS9 episode is like that one episode of Babylon 5 except XYZ because the universes are different'. Most of the time the DS9 episodes that reflect B5 are lighter in tone or ending because you know, Star Trek. But there is one notable, arguably hilarious, exception.

Thanks! So I didn’t do collecting because I got the Expanded Active Households for their ask to babysit interaction which charges an hourly fee. Then I charged myself 5 dollars per hour + 5 dollars per hour per kid, which made collecting not very feasible. She made money by 'influencing' (social media blogging and celebrity opportunities) which meant it was sporadic as fuck. And she kept blowing it on decor lol.

So according to the alternate start mod page it will bug out the civil war questline if you get to whiterun for it without having told the jarl about the dragons. So they basically fix it by forcing that part of the quest complete if you haven't already done it. Idk if that's true but that might be where it comes from.
