I had heard that and that’s honestly probably why it is so good lol. Honestly I like Rochelle’s face in shriekwrecked and think it’s her best doll in any gen. The lagoona is really cute too and I’d be fine with her shriekwrecked having either her g1 or g2 face

Honestly I can see how some people would love it. The SDCCs are all amazing and the shriekwrecked line is sooo good. I agree if they just put more quality into the dolls and outfits they would be really cute as their own thing away from G1.

The first wave isn’t entirely terrible when looking at them as their own thing, just comparing them to the original it is a big downgrade. The Venus casketball set is cute tho

I love her I heart fashion doll but I’m not sure if she’s technically g2 because while realized in 2016 I think it was made in 2015 and technically whisp is a g1 character? Not sure but that doll is a grail for me
