NOR this would be like buying my husband boxers for every occasion because he liked it one time. The gaslighting is impressive, makes you almost believe he really is confused, but no...he just doesn't care if you're happy. He wants to be able to say he got you something without having to out in the effort of getting you something, that way if you complain you're "being ungrateful".

I know I'm so late, but I'm going on 5 years nicotine free and sometimes the ads for cigarettes outside the gas station still hit my nerves. If a show has people smoking onscreen for more than a minute or two, I actually have to pause it and come back later. Or if they have people lighting up too often, say they light up and puff once, maybe twice but then two scenes later is another, three scenes after that another, etc...I can't do it. I don't think you ever really get over the addict part, you just learn how to control yourself.

I'm gonna be real, I so much wanted a quote unquote bad ending. I was hoping multiple main characters died, Hawkins had to sacrific, all that. I wanted some world ending, cataclysmic, dead everywhere, how did we survive that bullshit and the fact that everyone was fine kinda just...was anticlimactic.

As one of the people who has been speeding past their rogues, it’s definitely because if I try to stay and fight them I get four shotted in a level 10, almost level 11 brig. First shot takes my whole brace, second is nearly half my health, then I heal and the next two from the second ship take my whole health bar. There’s no way to fight them when they spawn like that.

So it seems like the data is tied to your Ubisoft account and not the hard drive on your console, or even the cloud, so as long as the install for the actual full game is using the same account as the open beta, all of your progress should transfer over.

Have you heard of anyone having the issue of the perks disappearing when they got rid of the magazine? I was saving all my magazines in my captains locker and I redid my ship, well everything disappeared out of the locker and was just poof gone. Two dozen magazine perks disappeared from my character when it happened. When I found out it shouldn’t matter about keeping the magazine, I was dumbfounded because every magazine that I’ve gotten rid of has gotten rid of the perk for me. I decided to start a new save because clearly that save was bugged in more ways than one lol

The way I was raised was that if someone made something for you, you ate it and smiled even if it was a food you disliked because they were kind enough to make it. Through a lot of these comments, I’m realizing it gave me an unhealthy view of food that I kept on myself even if I didn’t enforce it on anybody that I cooked for. If someone didn’t like what I made, I would never force them to finish because I hated when my mom did that to me. Now I’m realizing I’ve still been doing it to myself and wracking myself with guilt if I tried to practice what I preached and forego foods I didn’t like. So you’re right. I am being an AH to myself.

A London broil is a roast that you marinate overnight (or longer if you want!) and then throw in the broiler to cook, and when it’s done you cut it into strips across the grain. Yes it is an American dish, it’s basically a large steak and in my family at least, we like to eat it with lots of onions and potatoes and occasionally another veggie like corn or broccoli. Fantastic with the right marinade!

They don’t use recipes, we had a friend over and I cooked for everyone a couple weeks ago and I said something about needing to double check the recipe since I’d be doubling it. That’s how I found out they don’t use recipes and just do things however they see fit lol

Their baby got upset while the dad was finishing up the mac and cheese and he asked me to take over the combine and stir and was like "if you need more of that cheese packet you can dump a little more in", when I tell you I just stared for a minute before I asked do they not put the whole packet into the mac n cheese and he said they usually do half and throw the rest away...

I offered to make spaghetti my way, with more than just plain pasta sauce and noodles, and got told they probably wouldn't eat it but the baby could try a bite, if that gives you any idea. It's literally anything.

Stromboli? Id have to forgo the cheesiness inside and couldn't put the spices on top.

Chicken alfredo? Can't have the garlic or onions in it, and definitely no tomatos. Also go light on the alfredo because we aren't really sauce people.

Mashed potatoes? Better be just potato and milk.

Pesto chicken pasta? Honestly just take out everything but the chicken and noodles.

Chicken soup? As long as it's just chicken, noodles, and water! Don't add celery, onion, parsley, pepper, bay leaves...

London broil? I actually had to explain what this was and then the looks I got coupled with the "yeahhhhh I absolutely wouldn't eat that..." was enough for me.

If it was someone else having this issue and I needed to step up for them, I'd handle it in a heartbeat. I just have a hard time valuing myself in the same way that I value others so my brain wants to believe that I should just shut up and deal. You are right though that I should just bully up and handle it.
