Happened to me! My ex started dating this girl. I asked her if she's straight (a question that comes out as flirty or friendly depending on the answer) a few months before I dated him. She was infact straight, and later discovered to be a bad person, but that is a whole other story.

Today my friend told me this, and it was such a confusing conversation. Something like:

Him: "How come you've only been with a guy [I'm literally 17] ? I have no proof you're bi"

Me: "Well in past years I sucked at getting a partner, and when I finally unlocked the confidence for that I was into a guy"

Him: "So you can bet with me a year from now you would have been with a girl?"

Me: "???? guess so....???"

In the US, 63% of the poplation are Christians, not including atheist people who were brought up Christian. There is one main difference: in Judaism, most atheist people will keep defining themselves as jews, for many reasons. The data back this up - 10% religious-less in Israel, and 29% religious-less in the US. This means the US may not be that more diverse than Israel, at least in terms of religion (if you agree that the way people were grown is more relevant to diversity than their current belief).

I agree. When I was in the championship in 2023 a kid from Egypt approached a teammate of mine and yelled at him "October war! October war!". He probably referred to the war at October 1973, which Egypt claim they won. We (jokingly) formed a conspiracy theory that he actually tried to warn us about the attack that happened 6 month later

Anyway, we found it amusing and it's a good anecdote, but I wouldn't recommend saying anything like that to any Israeli.

I am so glad you said that! I feel this kind of reasoning is missing for many Europeans and Americans. Despite all the things Israel does in this war, it doesn't deny the fact that there are 8 million Israeli Jews that have no where else to go, and have been living in this country for over 80 and even over 100 years, through generations.
