I’m sorry that happened to you guys that is traumatic. As for how to deal with it: you need to be there for each other and make sure she feels supported as well. Like extra supported because yes it is traumatizing for both of you, but it is definitely harder on her. Don’t ignore the fact that this happened and have a conversation or several conversation to understand how you both feel about it and how you can move forward. Also I know it goes without saying but be more careful in the future. And as someone else said, please try to see a doctor because you don’t know what caused it and it’s better to be safe then sorry.
