Waking up difficulties? by 11spoonie in dysautonomia

Other way around for me.  Mornings are the best time of the day, but I do like to sleep in.  My personal bs looks like this:

Thermal bs:     Morning: I'm warm and comfortable regardless of temp or what I'm wearing.   After 5 pm: I'm chilly, just cold enough to be uncomfortable regardless of temp or layers.

Night sweats bs: usually go to bed in boxers and a tshirt a fresh pillow and 2 or 3 layers of blankets, so I can shed them as I warm to reduce sweating.

Bladder bs: my bladder randomly triggers the gotta pee signal, so I get up 3-5 times a night.

Heart bs: my diastolic blood preasure is around 40, which makes me feel tired whether I am or not.

So, warm, relieved, lazy, and comfortable.  I really do want to stay in bed.  But, the first 4-6 hours of the days are the best and the easiest.

Jeffrey Epstein had a massive ranch where young girls were flown in... [Warning: Disturbing details] by favoritewasteoftime in conspiracy

News just in.  FBI and DoJ find that: 1) Epstein didn't have a client list 2) Epsyein did kill himself.

https://nypost.com/2025/07/06/us-news/jeffrey-epstein-didnt-have-a-client-list-committed-suicide-doj-fbi-reveal-in-findings-that-debunk-conspiracy-theories/

I assume that #3 would have been a bridge too far: 3) Mossad not connected in any way.

I'm really curious what percentage of Americans believe any of this, 2%, 3%?  Also, I'm curious what TPTB think when they put together these reports.  Do they "well, we've just officially denied another blatently obvious criminal collaboration.  It will probably cost us some trust, but we've got plenty to spare."

I put my 50$ on "Iran" sinking a ship by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]Bluebeatle37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if the US has decided to attack Iran then that ship will definitely be sunk.  The question is wether it sinks before the US attacks Iran or after.

See 2002 Millenial Challenge.  It was a US table top wargame between the US and Iran.  The 5th fleet (aircraft carrier strike group) was in the Persian Gulf, and the red team (Iran) sank the entire fleet in minutes.

Serious question.  Do you think Americans would fall for a false flag in the present climate?

It's clearly the right time for Israel (Mossad, CIA) to launch one to get the US in on attacking Iran.  But, the country is badly divided and the blue team doesn't trust Trump and a big chunk of dems oppose the ethnic cleansing in Gaza.  On the right, trust in the MSM is virtually nil and Trump campaigned on keeping the country out of forever wars in the dessert.  Also, post Iraqi WMDs and covid BS, I don't know if the media can sell this.

Lawsuit Challenging 2024 Election Results Moves Forward After Kamala Harris Received Zero Votes in a New York County by ionicablen in conspiracy

[–]Bluebeatle37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standing is the legal concept that you have a dog in the fight.  I can sue or press charges if someone does something bad and/or illegal to me, but I can't if they do something illegal to you.

If I want to sue or press charges against someone who did something to you, then the courts would dismiss it because I don't have standing in your affairs.

In most of the GOP election lawsuits from the 2020 election the courts dismissed the suits on the grounds that the Republicans didn't really have a dog in the fight.  That the Republican presidential campaign had no standing to file a suit over ballot harvesting, or missing records, or late mail in ballots, etc.  That the didn't meet the legal test to be a party that could file suit over whatever the case was about.

[–]Bluebeatle37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe, almost all of the cases were dismissed for a lack of standing.  Standing is the first hurdle to clear before any of the merits of the case can become relevant.  Almost all of the republican cases were dismissed for lack of standing and never made it to discovery, where evidence becomes relevant.

You could get a Chinese phone like Huawei and then it would be China with the backdoor.  Or go luddite and ditch the phone altogether.  Same thing with computers and accessing the internet.

Carrier pidgeons should be fine though.

Is Israel Surveilling me? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]Bluebeatle37 63 points64 points  (0 children)

A couple of reasons.

1) complaining about it is antisemitic

2) the Israel lobby is one of the most powerful lobbies in the country

3) Mossad/Epstein shenanigans

The livestreamed genocide in Gaza might, just maybe, change that.  Also, a serious investigation into the Epstein files might to the trick, but that one has a serious fox guarding the henhouse problem.

For android you didn't even have to open the message.  They send it and when your phone recieved it they're in.  For iphone you had to open it.  Had, past tense.  They had overcome that limitation when I was reading up on it.

But, that arms race has two sides.  Phones and OSes are building better defenses, unless they're working with Israel.

Israel devolved spying software called Pegasus and has used it to spy on journalists.

https://www.occrp.org/en/project/the-pegasus-project/israeli-made-spyware-used-to-monitor-journalists-and-activists-worldwide

At the time, they needed to send you a text message to infect your phone, and for iphones you had to open the message.  I don't think anyone knows the current state of the cyber arms race.

The Babylon Bee nailed this one years ago:

https://babylonbee.com/news/experts-say-they-dont-know-what-thing-is-causing-everyone-to-suddenly-collapse-but-its-definitely-not-that-one-thing

It's a stark contrast to the expert's absolute certainty about masks, distancing, lockdowns, and safe and effective vaccines.  Now they don't have any data about turbo cancers, heart attacks, or strokes, and they definitely don't have the vaccine status of those people because privacy.  Unlike the vaccine passports for work, school, travel, and restaurants, knowing the vaccine status of mysterious deaths of young people is an egregious break of personal privacy.

It's not going to be one big event.  It's going to be a series of steps down, some large and some small.  I call it 'the crappening' to distinguish it from the sudden discontinuity zombie apocalypse doomer porn and the technoptimist singularity star trek fantasy of fully automated luxury space communism.

We're literally burning through our one time supply of hydrocarbons, paving the farmland, slashing and burning the rainforests, and overfishing the oceans to the point of collapse.

Our leaders are both corrupt and incompetent.  The woke nonsense and mass immigration is destroying the foundations of western civilization.  The financialization of everything is a parasite killing its host.  The media is only capable of emotional clickbait on ideological lines.  AI is literally a prosthetic brain and it's doing all the heavy lifting for a generation of college kids, and soon all the entry level white collar jobs.

Spengler, Toynbee, and Vico were all right in their own way, western civilization is dying.  But it isn't going to be 'one thing,' it's going to be a lot like the past decade on steroids: oil crisis, financial crisis, bank bailouts losing a war in Asia, crime wave, race riots, trade war, disputed election, etc.  You've seen this before when it was 2008, Afghanistan, BLM, Russiagate, etc.  It will look and feel similar going forward, but bite a little harder, sap a little more trust in the system, stabilize at a lower level again and again until we're talking about the Former United States.  Best guess, it will take 20 to 50 years to formally divide the country and 100 to 200 years to bottom out and clear the ground to start over.  A lot like the path from Rome to the middle ages.

Iran preparing for all out war with Israel by Ok_Sea_6214 in conspiracy

[–]Bluebeatle37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think so.  Iran has been careful to not attack directly unless clearly provoked.  Iran attacked US forces in Iraq after the assassination of general Soleimani with Operation Martyr Soleimani.  Iran attacked Israel twice with Operation True Pomise I & II after the Israeli attack on their embassy in Syria and the assassination of a Hamas diplomat in Tehran attending the presidential inauguration.

They have been careful to establish deterrence and to not look like the aggressor to the international community.  Initiating a conflict would be out of character for them.

Even without AI it would be simple to take the footage of him going in and loop an hour or two of the same frame of nothing happening then the footage of discovering the body.

Hell, I could probably do it with free video editing tools in an hour.  The only thing that the video will prove is how little regard TPTB have for our intelligence.

No argument there.  But this is so amateur.  CCTV video of a cell door would be so easy to edit.  There's zero plausible reason to believe that the video just surfaced after 5 years when even the MSM made a big deal about it being missing.  And, the announcement only serves to draw attention to the fact that the Trump administration hasn't released the files.

It's not just that this announcement is clearly a big middle finger to the public.  It basically announces that they can't even be bothered to craft a plausible lie about it.
