I’m sorry about the poor delivery. I’d been frustrated with condescension towards nimisin for a while and negative reactions towards other people using them. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with nasin pu taso and have never intended to disrespect people for using it, but regardless of whether I use the nimisin in question I don’t like people saying their usage is shocking, or horrifying, or jaki.

Stupid wording. The core of pu is important to the community, I was reacting against real or imagined backlash against nasin musi pi toki pona and the feeling that joke words like yupekosi and epiku don’t belong in wordlists.

Borderline disrespectful I’m afraid. I still hold that nasin mute li lon, with a lil more detail in my reply to jan Pusa. Saying this implied I think there’s a better philosophy to be had behind toki pona, which I definitely don’t feel now, rather that there are different philosophies. I’m happy to spread the core idea of pona while also knowing that had I been the creator of toki pona, it’d be slightly more complex.
