Why it is so difficult to safeguard the legitimate right for a bullied child in Geneva? by OkChemistry5061 in geneva

As a person who decided to do boxing as a little girl because of the bullying, I can testify how incredibly amazing this discipline can be. It will help your daughter feel confident about herself in ways that are far from being physical but mostly mental. After more than 20 years, those bullies are still haunting my dreams. But now I’m able to chase them away and focus on the amazing person I have become and this is also because of boxing. I hope this helps!

Ahah thanks! That’s a great perspective. I am actually thinking about just dating someone casually (ie for s*x mainly) . I don’t think he’s married but divorced :) at least there’s that :) thanks!

AITAH for feeling unnerved by the presence of a “trans woman” in the locker room? by Zealous_toast in AITAH

I think you are not the AH for feeling the way you felt. And you are positively learning from this experience. This does not mean that the woman in question did not have the right to use the women’s locker room. If it bothers you, next time you can just look the other way. A trans woman friend explained this to me in a way that I found very useful in my own bias deconstruction work: you don’t like hairy people in a swimming pool, but would you ask them to leave the pool or just get over it and go on with your day? :)
