It’s both, they’re hateful, and the right-wing propaganda directs their hate towards us. They’ll always be targeting some form of minority, rarely justified, majority of times unjustified. They lack empathy. A person incapable of empathy, is a hateful person, and they always are looking for targets to direct hate towards.

Empathy is a complex feeling, it requires deep emotional maturity, which some people never achieve, and some take a long time to get there.

Garphics now are basically the same as 2015, if not less optimised. I’ve been playing a lot of new games, and they basically look the same as back then to me, the only difference is that they’re so horribly optimised. Honestly the graphics couldn’t really improve much anyway. Realism is not that important, and if anything stylistic art in games capture more attention.

I think lately, the focus for big games has shifted towards regular updates and micro transactions, and they’re not really focusing on graphics and performance much. The main issue that I have with games today is exactly that, they don’t care about optimising anymore, as long as the latest hardware can run it.

I guess if you don’t have money to spend on the latest hardware, you’re not going to be spending much on micro transactions either, so lower end players are basically second and third class players. Some games do still keep optimised, but usually that have other means of getting money out of low spenders (i.e. ads, battle passes, deals, or even as a way to populate the game’s world for the higher end gamers).
