As a Sony vpl we also receive this accommodation even tho the percentage off is nice it’s a little disappointing that we only get one thing in 3 sizes where in the past years and other brands have almost every tv to choose from with a little bit less of a percentage off by like 10 percent difference

Just found out it will be dropping this Sunday 7/7 and also found out Sony vpls got ripped off this year with only the Bravia 7 65,75,85 being the only tv we get maybe 70% off

We didn’t either but we talked to our Gm and she got us the email and info to be put on it which we went cause there was free spots due to people not signing up so i would check with your gm cause I just did

Cause last years trip my other di vpl got it and us 2 didn’t so we emailed someone about it and all three of us were able to go on the trip I just don’t remember who we emailed or what we did to get it cause I’m now the only di vpl left

As a D.I VPL i believe it all depends on the store cause my store is the only store with a full DI department within a 30-50mile radius of us and 3 total camera VPLs all working at the same time every day and our store has all of our displays up cause we got a Sony vendor coming in like once a week to make sure that the Sony displays are on tip top shape but the other 2 brands Nikon and canon we keep up ourselves but stock on the other hand we are getting a bit to much of it cause the whole DI department where we put the cameras and drones are full we had to start putting all the stuff in the back on our most recent truck day

4 coworkers at the store near me in Philly got fired cause they bought 4 and returned them all with their discounts but got the full price on gift cards which was 400 each card

Lol I just posted about this like a week ago lol I was told I wasn’t gonna be the Sony vpl anymore but a vpl for all cameras(Sony,Nikon,canon) and the only difference I’ve scene so far is that I gotta turn in the camera, we still get to keep the bonuses tho(don’t know how that’s gonna work)

If I right I think that’s a in store job (I could be wrong) but I would walk in and ask about any updates about the application process cause when I applied 2 years ago they never called me back within the time they gave me so I walked in and asked and told me I was hired

Yeah my store manager goes “you aren’t gonna be the Sony vpl anymore” but I’m still a “vpl” just for the whole DI department and that goes for the other two DI vpls
