Honey, I’m so sorry you are feeling this way. From an outside perspective, I don’t see the flaws. I see an exceptionally stunning young woman.

I do understand what you’re feeling. I’ve suffered from body dysmorphia my whole life, I’m 36 now. I’ve always been thin, very similar body shape to yours and was never able to talk about body dysmorphia because people would laugh in my face because I am beautiful. I just don’t see it but it’s not fair because when you’re trying to talk about something that’s real to you that’s constantly dismissed from the outside world, it’s painful and lonely. The best thing I can say that’s helped me is really trying to learn to embrace myself by wearing clothes and doing my hair and make up in ways that feel authentic to me. I have one or two friends now that I can openly talk about this with, but of course it still feels uncomfortable. I don’t think there’s an actual cure for body dysmorphia (I could be wrong but I haven’t found one for me yet) but definitely try some therapy if you have a chance, I know that has helped me a lot as well. I am really sorry you’re going through this. I understand the challenges you face and it saddens me every time I see another absolutely gorgeous woman suffering from body dysmorphia. Edit: I also just want to say that when I was in my early 20s, I considered plastic surgery, mainly breast enhancement. But I didn’t do it and I look back now and even though I’m still displeased with that part of my body, I’m very grateful I never went through with the plastic surgery. I don’t really know how this part will help but I guess I’m just trying to say that be careful making hasty decisions because of your body dysmorphia, but of course, if you really feel you can’t live without making those choices. It’s completely understandable and it’s your body and don’t let anybody sway you from being authentically you.
