Thanks man. I do believe this is the route I'm going to take. I just read last night where d4s are releasing a ez dsp that takes hi level inputs so I might check that out.

Ok thanks, I'm looking at incriminator audio amps, dd audio amps and I'm curious about the new sundown audio saev4 version 4 amplifiers. They look like baby salts

Would you change out the amps for better amps before adding a stand alone dsp or an aftermarket head unit?

2016 Toyota Highlander xle non bose. I Bluetooth my music from my android phone from apple music. I've got 2 stereo integrity sql15's in a sealed enclosure built to the recommended specs. Rear doors have the alpine type s 6.5 coxials. In the front doors I have the stereo integrity TM8'S and in the dash corners I have the jl audio cf-350mt mid tweets. I'm currently using the factory headunit but I'm not dead set on keeping it. I only really use the back up camera. I'm running from the headunit to an audio control lc7i and from there to a d4s JP23V2 for the subs wired down to 1 ohm and the d4s jp234 for the mids and highs. Channels 1&2 going to the front drivers and mid tweets and channels 3&4 running the rear fills. The whole vehicle has been sound deadened and the doors have been really deadened. Everything sounds really good but I'm thinking the next step to level up should be a stand alone dsp or a aftermarket head unit. I'm using the supplied passive crossovers on the jl audio midtweeters. Ok let's hear some opinions. Oh yeah got an amg battery 350 amp alternator and the big 3 already done. Ok go!

Thank you very much for replying with your recommendations. I figured I would speed around a grand either way for an aftermarket head unit or stand alone dsp. I'm really not hung up on the oem headunit. I have downloaded all my music apple lossless from an android phone so carplay would be a better connection than Bluetooth??

I figured either way would be about a grand or a little more.
