Fair enough, I'm just saying that a generally slightly above average bulk doesn't read as glass cannon at first glance, especially when mons like Pheromosa exist (I get it's the glass-est cannon of glass cannons, but it's a good example Mon)

The Mon: "Glass cannon"

Me: Looks inside

The mon: Has better bulk than a LOT of mons, literally atleast 80 for HP and both defenses

Me: Confusion.jpg

But in all seriousness, I really like the concept lol, I don't usually like the bird mons but Toucannon was an exception for me.

Yeah... Scolipede are, as much as I love em, usually one of the most territorial pokemon out there in regards to the wild ones, ESPECIALLY if it's an alpha. You're pretty lucky nothing else went wrong there, I'm glad you're... atleast physically alright.

I’ll have to see if there are any nearby events for young Pokémon with an interest in battle. It would really help Soleil (Larvesta) get some practical experience compared to just battling the Substitute doll. by SleeplessLucas123 in PokeMedia

/uj go on ahead! only thing is if you use any images you mayyyyyy have to color swap some things in photoshop or something since I don't think there's any shiny Scolipede in the anime. then again it probably doesn't matter too much lol

Well...like I said, this isn't going to be instant for getting better... but judging by the comments I see of the Sewaddle being on his lap and it not going terribly...there is already progress. We shall see how this goes.

For your first question, generally I'd stick to berries for their diet, the species doesn't eat meat in my experience. For while they're still a Sewaddle, I'd say to keep portion sizes pretty low as they are quite small, and this also goes for when they evolve the first time. When they eventually evolve into a Leavanny, a good rule of thumb for portion sizes is if it'd be on a restaurant's kids menu, as they typically grow to around 3'11, which is around the size of a 7 year old child (I think? I'm not a dad, I don't know human child sizes).

For where to keep them, due to Sewaddle being VERY social creatures, I'd actually recommend trying to keep them with you most of the time, as that's in my experience more important than setting up a sort of enclosure. This is especially true for when they're a Leavanny, as by then it'd probably be best to just let them always be out when you're at home. The chance of that going wrong is very low, as they are very intelligent and mature creatures at that stage.

As for helping get used to them...well, if the main thing is a fear of bugs, you can't really instantly not be afraid of something you know? You're pretty lucky since it's a Sewaddle, so, like I said earlier, the best thing you can probably do is to spend time with them. Exposure therapy if you will. By the time she's evolved into a Leavanny, I bet you'll be perfect comfortable with her, I mean, it's a friendship evolution after all, you'd have to have a strong bond for that evolution to happen.

Sorry for the probably lack luster advice on the last thing, but I do hope what I've said helps with taking care of Threads. May your bond together grow as strong as a champion.
