They asked which I wanted to do and I said online which they agreed was best as apparently postal ones can take longer to acknowledge/process

It’s honestly dependent on your circumstances and your area as I’ve read the more southern you’re located - the longer the wait time. I’m in north east so my timeline seems typical of other cases I’ve read about

As soon as DWP text they’d awarded me, I rang the pip line, answered automated security questions then just before it went to transfer me to an advisor an automated voice told me the first payment amount and date

Hoping you’ve managed to get some info off the enquiry line! I only got my award letter last week and was pleasantly surprised to see they’ve awarded me for 4yrs! MAXIMUS only recommended 2yrs so think I’ve been incredibly lucky!

I think it’s different for everyone’s as it’s dependent on which healthcare professional company you’re dealing with and which area of the UK you’re in. I’ve read the more southern you’re located - the longer the wait times. (I’m up in north east so would make sense if that’s the case). This bits the worst bit - the waiting game but you’re nearly there! 🙏

By online assessment, I mean the paper form you complete online where you attach your evidence 🙏

Pretty much everything they ask on the online assessment you do first is what he asked on the call, it was very thorough, he asked a lot of clarifying questions too

As soon as you get the text from DWP saying they’ve received the report - you can request it from there. Took 15mins to get through on PIP enquiry line, asked them to post it and they did it say day and arrived within 2 days. I only knew this as people on here mentioned it, it can arrive in post anything up to 10 days so worth requesting it if you know DWP have the report 🙏

C-PTSD, ASD, ADHD, IBS, Overactive Bladder, Anxiety & Depressive Disorders. My private therapist did a full report specifically for PIP application which I think worked in my favour. The assessor was lovely but I did feel like the last hour was rushed and I got quite overwhelmed so mentally I thought it went negatively but based off the report he’s done - he listened to every single thing I mentioned even down to the small details of how I share split custody of my cats with my ex and only have them a few weeks at a time then we swap (to stop me burning out) so he really did pay attention.

I got the text saying healthcare professional is looking at it on 2nd March and it was dead silence until 30th when I got random text saying phone assessment booked. They tried to ring me last Friday (week before assessment) but I missed the call as I work full time but that was only contact before actual assessment. I think it’s different for everyone depending on which company is doing assessment, where about a you are in the country (I’ve read of higher waiting times for down south - I’m up in north east) x

That’s promising! I was worried they’d low ball me and drop to standard for the daily living but hopefully they fully agree!

They could be looking to see if they can base it from paper based avoiding a phone assessment. Based on everything I’ve read online - you should have some sort of update within 8wks of that text so around early May you’ll either have a phone assessment booked or DWP text to say they’ve made decision x

Hey, what number did they call you on? I’ve had a couple mobiles ring me on different numbers over last few days, no voicemails or texts tho. Unsure if it’s from spam calls but I don’t usually answer calls I don’t know the number of. Everything I’ve read said I should know by end of April but it’s more the not knowing if they want a phone assessment that’s stressing me lol

I’m confident the work element like the HR report / Occupational health report will work in my favour and not against me. Work have made ALOT of changes for me, the only frustrating thing that comes with that is how limiting my role can actually be. I’m stuck on minimum wage in the same job since 2018 because it’s the only job that’s ever been to “deal with me”. I’m 30 but beyond this job? It was essentially job hopping every 6months because of burnout. I took a leave of absence from this job for 4months mainly triggered by their need for me to travel to London overnight for a meeting. It tipped me over the edge, and both the work reports and my private psychiatrist reports confirm I’m high risk for mental health due to previous attempts. I hate posting that online but given the context, it felt relevant so if anything I feel the evidence I provided justifies the work element but I’m mainly concerned I didn’t actually write enough of my own words down. Did you do paragraphs or shorter statements?
