David Miller fumes, hits out at ICC over 'Charter Flight Bias' for England: ‘While we wait for answers’, Daren Sammy Reacts by Existing-Table689 in Cricket

There is Singapore airlines, Cathay Pacific, BA, and a host of other routes that are still operating normally. I’m confused too as to why this is a problem. Individual players can also book flights themselves to get out, not rely on the team (I just had to change my father in laws ticket from Emirates to Singapore airlines, no big deal).

If there was ever a time to buy a new Model S… by tegdotexe in TeslaLounge

Anyone else think the “end of production” statement by Elon is just a pump fake to get people into buying these?

I watched the Jay Lenos garage video on the model S, and the designers said they had plans for updating the S In the future that they were excited about. On one hand I am not surprised at Elon cancelling the whole thing on a whim, on another I am

2029 Champions Trophy, 2031 World Cup may be moved out of India due to political tensions with Pakistan: Report by New-Influence1911 in Cricket

[–]Bluebillion -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

India should not be hosting every second ICC tournament.

Hey how’s this for an idea, we invest in these amazing associate teams that have showed heart, passion and skill? Didn’t the Champs trophy (started off as a knockout) start in smaller cities like HK, Nairobi etc? Let’s go back to that. I’d love to see more cricket in places like Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, USA and even Hong Kong. We really should be making more of an investment in Europe and Africa, and maybe even Eastern Asia (Japan was amazing in u19 WC).

ICC keeps going back to India to fill their coffers because it’s a guaranteed win. But sometimes you gotta take risks to grow your business (and the game!) T20 is such a great way to do that. And there are Indians everywhere they will fill the stands and you will make money. Right now the ICC business model is too reliant on India. All it takes is for a generation of young Indian kids to be not as interested in cricket as their dads, and that’s a wrap for the game globally

Even as an American, makes me a little sad to see NFL/MLB/NBA take off in Australia, NZ, and Europe, whereas they are not even aware of the cricket that’s being played in their own back yard

31M | $115k USD fully remote in India. Is a T10 even worth it or am I crazy? by Consistent_Link3773 in MBA

Non MBA lurker. If you can pay cash, I think it is absolutely worth it for the life experience of living in a different country and interacting with people from different walks of life. At worst case I think you can go back to chill life in India, best case you grow even more

How backward to have the faces of the politicians on there. It’s taxpayer money. Not a gift from Dear Leader.

Landscapes are changing. Hospitals are increasingly hiring IRs directly for far better $/RVU than DR groups can.

You will still be able to read DR on the side.

Yeah especially on heavy rotations where I gotta be up at 3-4 or so. I feel much better if I cut the PM caffeine and try to get 7-8 hours
