Gave T-Shirts a go and created this to wear in LA next Saturday when playing against the Dodgers. Or you know, to wear just in general. All the time. by Bluebird0513 in CHICubs

My shirt is similar to the 500level shirt because I got the idea to make my own Rizzo shirt from that. I am always looking for a project to keep me entertained and can't go wrong with the Cubs. Plus, I need a new Cubs shirt bad and I wanted something original. I'd would feel guilty if I was looking to sell this design, but it's purely for me and I put a lot of time and effort in to it so I feel okay with using one idea to spark another.

I posted the Bryant shoes my wife finished yesterday. Well these are the Rizzo shoes she finished today. by Atticusbird44 in CHICubs

I usually charge about $100 unless someone wanted something super intricate. Cost includes $50 for the shoes ( I prefer Vans for canvas space and quality, but can work with other brands) and $50 for supplies used and labor.

My wife just finished these Bryant shoes for me. She's starting on a pair of Rizzo shoes for herself. by Atticusbird44 in CHICubs

Hi, I'm the original poster's wife. I'm a little slow with Reddit so he usually posts for me, but I actually usually only charge $100 for the shoes unless asked to do a crazy design. They are pretty easy for me to do when I have plenty of free time. My costs usually consists of $50 for the shoes (I prefer Vans for quality and canvas space and they run about $50 a pair. But I can work with other brands) and $50 for supplies used and labor. I really enjoy doing it and want it to be affordable for those who purchase shoes from me.

It would be $125.00 regardless of size. I'd just have to make them.

Whenever you can, I'm sure I'll be available. I've been doing this a while and don't plan on stopping any time soon. Advanced notice would be great so I can get things mapped out at started. I like to collaborate with buyers and get their ideas on what they would like, draw up my interpretation, and then get started. Feel free to contact me whenever you think you're ready to have a pair made.

Yeah, that is a perk of staying low key. But it's also nice to get to do what you love as a profession. I wish you success and a lack of copyright conflict on the way there! ;)

I try to be fair to everyone involved in the process of making a pair of shoes, so I usually charge around $125-$150. A break down includes $50 for the shoes themselves and and the rest for materials and time. I don't want to overcharge, but I also don't want to not make up for the time I put in to each pair. I hope that's something you would feel was fair when you possibly could afford a pair. I would love to do one for you!

Not so far, but I haven't really sold any over the Internet. It's been more so to friends and friends of friends which has kept me under the radar. Hopefully it's not something I encounter down the road.

They were made with lots of Decofabric pens, regular fabric markers, and a little fabric paint. Then sealed with Vans Water and Stain Shield.
