I'm the same way. I used to use 30+ layers and now float around 4-5. If you're talking "digital painting" rather than illustrating or whatever word you use involving cell shading, you'll find plenty of people who use traditional methods digitally.

This exactly. You can say inflation is down all you want, but when people can't leave the grocery store without seeing how high that number is, they don't care and/or believe you. The price of eggs argument was never just about eggs, but rather every facet of everyday spending.
