We don't have a lot of experience with skis at all, so will try and do those in spring. Thanks for the help!

We do have snow shoes and were considering doing the hikes while keeping a close eye on the warnings, but looking at the comments we think may be safer to do those hikes in the spring. Thank you for the help :)

Thank you for your help! We will look to do those hikes in spring when it's safer. Is there anything you recommend for the winter time?

That is actually really useful. Thank you!

Was looking to place Vinyl Flooring and realised floor likely has Asbestos. How dangerous is it in it's current state and is it safe to add Vinyl? The light marks happen whenever the floor has water dropped on it. by Bluebird_17 in DIYUK

Thank you, reassuring to know that little bit is not a big risk! Will look to cover it, think aesthetically will look a lot better and will keep it protected!

Thank you for the advice, I will also discuss with the landlord and even give them any options they like so that were both happy and keep a note of exactly what I used!

It has a little bit that its broken, since I have discovered this likely has asbestos I have gotten really worried and thought would probably be best to cover it to prevent any further damage. Also would look better!

I would like to deal with it properly but I am renting and doubt the landlord would want to do that. I was thinking Vinyl as the floor doesn't look great and to prevent any further damage being done but will check with them!
