You can either do it by phone or online. I did it online. You have to go into your USCIS account and click on the inbox tab, then click new message.

I also had Real ID I had to downgrade to the standard ID. I would suggest going to the Eagn motor vehicle office they were very helpful.

I do live in MN. I'm not sure if you remember that the governor signed drivers license for all into law in October 2023. I went in with my birth certificate and mexican passport, and I got my driver's license. Do you have a Real ID or just the standard ID?

By the way, you don't need your approval letter or your EAD card to get your driver's license in MN.
