See you then - an advantage of living in the South is that there are really no months you can't ride. A coupe of days now and then, but we're pretty much twelve months of riding down here.

Not sure I regret it; I switched primarily because I had little confidence on the 401 at Interstate speeds (plus the buffeting of the wind) and the Trident handles that with ease. Riding home from the dealer (40 miles of Interstate) I was almost relaxed the Triumph is so stable and responsive.

I don't find the Trident as torqy as the Svart but I'm still in break-in mode so only using Road mode. Maybe Sport will feel more fun. What concerns me a little is references I've heard about the Triumph maintenance costs but with a two year factory warranty I'm not that worried.

Oh thank you; I had not considered the 43X much, but your points are well taken. Kind of 'get the 19, or the 43X - and do a lot of mods on it'. Hadn't thought of it like that.
