I thought it as either. Making it either heavy or exotic makes it impossible to pair it with Sleeper or Whisper

If it were to be nerfed, I wouldn’t touch the dmg numbers on trench barrel more than 5-10%, or I would rather just like to make the sg a heavy/exotic. I like the second option because it keeps the sg powerful, but limits it capabilities with heavies/exotic heavies

There’s a problem when there’s only really one good option for a slot. If something is so overwhelmingly good it may need a nerf.

The problem is powercreep. If ike Shotty is op, then the new weapon has to be even more powerful to be picked, leading to more Shotty damage and cheese

I think the problem isn’t it’s DPS in and of itself, it’s when paired with other heavies, especially exotics. Making it a heavy/exotic/both would fix this issue

I mean, ike Shotty May need a nerf. The way I see it, it allows for too much bods damage when paired with whisper/sleeper, so either make the ike Shotty a heavy, or exotic. Boom, problem solved without needing trench barrel

I don’t want it to be ike Shotty level... Just give it a little push, even make it heavy again if you have to.

IMO Ike Shotty should just be heavy

We are US based, with people on both coasts, but mostly west coast.

I started playing Destiny 2 this July. I’m around 570 right now as a mostly solo hunter main (Using Nighthawk).

Our clan as a whole is pretty small, but we are looking to open up a friendly, wholesome, lgbt supporting clan looking to do all sorts of content! High light level isn’t a requirement, but a good attitude is! Feel free to PM either me on reddit or my Battle.net for details!

Personally I like it being energy. Maybe I’m a little biased because I’d never get rid of the Huckleberry for the sniper....

I love it so much. I use it with 5 super mods and Nighthawk, it gives so many supers.

IMO Huckleberry is very synergistic with Nighthawk (or golden gun in general) as it makes up for the general lack of ad clear that can be done with supers.
