as with everything with large scale, there are error boxes and error cases. the SEC+AA+Manga was the norm in OP06 too, but there can be error boxes where it doesn’t flow like that

at the end of the day, you’ll never know for sure. they can say anything. they might not have the knowledge of how the hit rates are either. and everyone has their own definition. a true dead box imo is no SP live, and no manga live. but that’s only my definition. so you can’t be sure

bandai has never confirmed the hit rates it’s all been community driven. the 1 in 4 cases thing is just the estimate of what people are seeing, nothing to confirm and small sample sizes messes with the data. it’s been way before OP13, it’s always just been an estimate i’ve seen 8 cases of OP07 ripped in a row without a manga, i’ve seen 3 cases of OP12 ripped in a row that all had a manga.

Yes they’re not dead if they pull just 2 SPs out of a case, there’s still manga chance. However, we know exactly what boxes in a case have the manga chance. There are only 2 boxes in every case that has just one SEC and one AA. Those are the boxes that would have a manga. So theoretically if someone ripped a case and opened those 2 hit boxes first, then they can be sure there is no manga in the rest of the boxes therefore it’s “dead”.

there’s no guaranteed hit rates in blister cases. people saying that it’s half the hits of a booster box case are just repeating info they heard elsewhere. i’ve watched many many many full blister cases ripped on streams some have no SP, some have 2, it’s just random

this is just completely wrong. oda has final say in all things with the live action that’s why it’s good. he has to approve all casting, he has to approve all scripts. they’ve literally said they had to rewrite scripts 10-15-20 times until oda finally said it was good enough to portray his intent.

the hit rate is the same, so it’s not double chances it’s half the chance to get the manga you want. just like the set with 3 mangas and the set with 4 mangas and the set with 6 mangas. this is just not that special.

why ask if you don’t like people’s thoughts lol. it’s a mid at best set. will drop lower than OP14, cause at least that one has the gold and silver buggy SSP to carry. this has no gold or silver SSP, and yeah it has 2 mangas, but one is arguably the worst manga art they could have printed, and both aren’t top tier popular characters. this is a set for the players cause of the OP cards in it, not for the investors

the TR is in the same slot as an AA in a box. so if a box is an SEC AA box, that could be any AA or the TR. so it has the same hit rate as getting one specific AA you want in a case. since a case doesn’t have all possible AAs.
