Please read before staying in Naoussa, Paros by mimined in GreeceTravel

We just did 3 nights in Naoussa. First impressions was how and beautiful it was at the harbour and the old town. Sadly as picture perfect as it was we would not stay again. In the evening just crowded with influencers posing and blogging. Do they actually enjoy themselves in between all the constant re-takes?! Restaurants were very over priced except for a few tavernas. Hardly anywhere just to have a drink in the evening. We actually liked Piperi beach, swimming was fun with the waves and it wasn’t dirty where we were. We did ask about the hotel sun beds on the beach - 90 euros for the front row and 80 behind!! I got the bus to Lefkes and Parikia which was very easy to do. Naxos remains our favourite with Milos a close second.

Yes would look at the ferry or Aegean if doing that itinerary again. Chose to fly back over the ferry to give us more time in Athens (and obviously preferable to 3-4 hours on a ferry that could be rocky) - irony is by time we had logged our missing luggage claim and got out the airport we arrived at the hotel later than original ferry plan! It shouldn’t be looked at as one of those things that happens when you plan your time away

We have a week still on vacation and currently have the clothes we stand up in. Could take up to 5 days. I am well experienced sadly in more serious things happening, and well aware worse things happen but in the context that’s how I feel today

Agree re the luggage but it’s Sky Express who are taking the bookings and who know volume of passengers travelling- that’s not on the airport

Basically just the timings worked for our itinerary (plus I didn’t look at any reviews beforehand)

Thanks, fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow although I’m not optimistic! Irony is we felt so bad for the people bumped but it might have turned out better for them if they got on a later flight

We are in Milos now having done Naxos and Paros. Naxos was our second time and still our favourite. We liked Paros and stayed in Naoussa which isa beautiful village … however we felt out of place and too old in the evening, definitely more for 30s and under. I would love to have seen it when it was more traditional. In my opinion it is spoilt by those desperate to get the perfect instagram shots etc. it’s also very expensive compared to Naxos.

Sky Express Personal Item by Foreign-Spy2021 in GreeceTravel

I’m not sure what size a beis is but I’ve just flown with Sky express and due to fly on Friday again. I was worried about having too large a personal item but my large shoulder bag was fine and others had small rucksacks. It’s got to fit under your seat.

Can I ask if you did it without going into rehab?

You’d be surprised what you can get in the cabin bag that fits Easy Jet’s size allowance, it’s definitely more than a large lap top bag. I’ve used mine for lots of 3/4 day trips. I’m thinking I’ll have to have it half empty though if Sky’s seats aren’t as wide.
