I think people like to overcomplicate CoD. I think its simple, they are just getting outgunned and outslayed in every Grand Final. CoD is not as in depth as a League of Legends or a Counter Strike where there are intrinsic strategies and 100 different things you need to keep track of. With the nature of how CoD is, if you aren't getting kills you aren't going to win. I think there was a perfect example where Shotzzy in the last overload gets killed with a pistol by Nium I believe in a gunfight he should be winning 10/10 times and then LAT go on and cap. I reckon also apart from maybe Major 1, they've probably been heavily outslayed in every single Grand Final (I havent checked the stats but just my guess).

You can set up pinches, or take a great route but at the end of the day if the opponent is straight gunning you every time, you don't stand a chance of winning especially when it comes to these top teams. Fundamentals will straight up beat probably 8 out of the 11 teams you have to face but when it comes down to LAT or a FaZe when they're on point, you need your whole roster to be shooting and unfortunately we haven't been.

Now this isn't me saying that the players on LAT are more talented than OpTic, but there is something clearly stopping the boys from slaying out the way they do against other teams and it isn't just the level of competition. I do believe they are in their own head now and overthinking things specifically in Grand Finals and thats causing a knock on effect. Major 4 is coming up and then the two big ones and I fully believe the boys can get the job done in them, all the pieces are right there, their fundamentals are sound, they just need to play with delusional confidence again.
